    Factory fitted LPG VE Commodore

I have the 2009 VE International with factory fitted LPG, it is not my first LPG vehicle having had 2 after market LPG 4x4 vehicles. The VE factory LPG is by far the best of the three and after 22000 klm's I have had no problems what so ever, having said that I also had no problems with my two...

    rpm's

Is that 500k's on petrol or on LPG? I get between 499 and 530k's on each and every tank of LPG except when I used Shell / Coles LPG I believe is not the same or made to be not the same and the last time I used that stuff I got 460k's hence I no longer go to Shell, on Caltex Woolworths and Mobile...

    VE Omega Headlight Upgrade

Projector, halogen or xenon I wouldn't have a clue but on my International the headlights IMO are very good and on high beam the spread and throw seems quiet good. I was on the F3 Freeway just last night and had some time to use the high beam in suitable conditions and for me it was good.

    Reverse Parking Sensors

Pretty hard to compare after market with factory when I have only used the supplied factory job. It is the first parking sensor set up I have had and I think its great it beeps slowly as you approach an object and beeps continuous tone when 1 meter of an object. I can only guess that at least...

center console lights and display problem

I believe this could relate to the battery saving mode (see separate thread) while that thread is not specific re console lighting it seems to go along the same lines with low battery voltage you did say it was damn cold.

what do you like/dislike about your VE compared to previous ride?

My last ride was an 08 CJ Lancer VRX my first sedan after three 4 x 4's the VE compared to the lancer is 10 times better. Road noise and cabin comfort in the VE beats the Lancer hands down the Road noise in those Lancers is a joke you can hardly here yourself think the 6 stack CD player in the...

    Spare wheel on the VEs

Got the 09 International cost me an extra 200 for the full size alloy and well worth it, I'd hate to do a trip relying on the space saver.
  9. veinternational

    Opinions on wheels?

Those SSV Wheels look just like my factory 18's lucky for me I don't sweat over wheel diameters so I'll stick to what I got and pocket the $2000 plus dollars:thumbsup: but having said that 15 years ago I would have spent a fortune and one reason why I don't have two houses now.....food for...

Do you have an lpg ve?

Ok to close this off and for any interested readers I have ran 3 or 4 tanks of LPG now and on every tank I get 495k's to 500k's and thats for about 69 litres, while it is a 73 litre tank the audible empty sound appears to activate with about 4 litres in reserve. I have no idea how any Commodore...

Which brand fuel do you use?

Fair enough, I had forgot about the Quix part, here in Gosford NSW we HAD 3 mobile servo's with no Quix and in the last 12 months 2 have shut down only one remains. of the two that have shut down one has just been demolished and the other remains boarded up.:rip:

Which brand fuel do you use?

Biggest company in the world, I do not dispute that but that's strange considering they are currently in the process of shutting down / selling off every outlet in NSW:rip:

Do you have an lpg ve?

Well this is my second gas injection vehicle the first being OMVL and I have never heard noise come from the injectors on either of them so I can only answer your question by saying "no there is no noise" unless there is some kind of noise I should be listening for ?

Do you have an lpg ve?

First tank 498.7 klm's on the nose that's pretty good for a 73 litre tank my old Landcruiser being a V8 got 420 klm's to 450 klm's from a 90 litre tank, I should add that this was the tank as delivered from Holden, they fill the tank to conduct leak tests etc so I can not be certain that the...

Do you have an lpg ve?

Well I am finally running the new VE on LPG after the initial 500k's run in on petrol, ran petrol for 750k's actually. As I said previously I have ran a similar gas system in a Landcruiser the gas gauge was identical but with the cruiser the gauge would show one quarter volume used at under...

GM Holden EcoLine Badge Highlights Alternative Range

Took delivery of a dual fuel VE International just the other day, dealer said mine was the first one he had seen with the badging which appears on the right hand side of the boot and on both front guards down the bottom. Its has a small green square and LPG in chrome.

Do you have an lpg ve?

You are correct and the 09 is the same, its not that it doesn't work they simply don't include the feature on the display, it would be nice to have that feature its something to play with while on the move but I purchased it for the cheaper LPG running costs first and foremost. Thats all I can...

Do you have an lpg ve?

Its dual and they get around the trip computer by eliminating some of the features found in the petrol version, it does not give infromation on KLM Per tank etc.
  26. veinternational

Do you have an lpg ve?

Yes it is a dual fuel vehicle if it was dedicated LPG like the Falcon I would not have purchased one, there are just to many places (when going on a trip) where LPG is either very expensive or not available. The gauge consists of a toggle switch to select petrol/lpg and a series of LEDS, 4 green...

Do you have an lpg ve?

Still waiting just at the start of the 5th week now and still no VE International LPG, they do say it arrives at the dealers today and I SHOULD get it tomorrow but that info was only forth coming after I telephoned them yesterday and asked them if my Commodore may be coming from China. :bang:

Do you have an lpg ve?

Thought I would touch base again but sadly I am not in a position to report ANYTHING re LPG at this stage, the reason : I am STILL waiting for delivery its been 3 weeks now and for a factory going to one shift a day from NEXT month you have to wonder why the 3 week wait, anyway it looks like...

Do you have an lpg ve?

I have just purchased an international with LPG. I believe it is only available as the behind the seat job it is 73 liters (usable) I do not think you would get 73 liters out of the donut tank if it could be used. This will be my third LPG vehicle and I hope the best because the engine is...
