VE SSV - dyno results low?

i had to travel a long way to get the car tuned (650kms) and fueled up at a remote outback servo with premium 98, but starting to wonder if it really was 98 octane or not. ah well, back to my previous post. i can tell theres a big difference since the tune, if it bugs me that much ill put it...

appreciate all the responses guys, definately happy with the overall performance gain and drivability of the car. might take it for a quarter mile time and see how far off the pace she really is, or if its on the money.

VE SSV - dyno results low?

just the weight difference from the 19" stockies to the aftermarket 20"s i mean dont get me wrong, the car feels amazing to drive now. the throttle response is ALOT better and i can feel more power for sure. i was just hoping for close to 260rwkw

hey all, ill list off the mods on the car to start with Orsomm OTR Hurricane 4>1 1" 7/8 headers 200 CPI hi flow cats 2.5 inch perry/HM catback. so basically OTR + full exhaust system i have had the car mafless tuned and run up on the dyno. now before any tuning was done - just bolt on mods...

    Speaker wiring

if you are just replacing the speakers, you can cut the plug off the end of the factory wiring. and solder on the new connectors that come with your new speakers to the existing factory wiring. that will work, and sound marginally better than the factory speakers. but it would mean that your...

    Re-tune after catback upgrade?

thanks for the advice, if i did go to a 3 inch, id probably be inclined to do the cam a bit down the track aswell. probably gonna stick with the 2.5 inch for now. thanks again, Timmo

    Re-tune after catback upgrade?

Wow, i didnt expect this sort of response from my question lol. however, my original question has been answered. re tune after swapping the 2.5" for a 3" required = no beneficial = depends on what else has been done to the car. in reference to what has been done to the car ill fill you in...

    Re-tune after catback upgrade?

Hey all, thinking of swapping my 2.5 inch catback for a 3 inch. my question is, would it be at all beneficial or required to get my dyno tune redone after bolting on the 3 inch? this might seem like a dumb question to some, but admittedly im a bit of a noob when it comes to cars...

    Minor lowering on VE SSV

this is how my SSV sits after putting SSL (Super Low Kings) in my car with the monroe GT shocks. they are 19" rims drivability has not been affected. i dont scrape on anything around town. only thing is you have to stop in a park before the gutter as the front lip wont clear it anymore. but ive...

hey guys, i currently have factory headers and cats, then a HM/Perry 2.5 inch cat back. i want to get some aftermarket headers and cats to match up to my existing cat back. are all 4 > 1 headers "tuned length"? and does this affect where my current catback bolts up? im just a bit lost on how...

hi all, just purchased myself a King springs and Monroe GT combo. going SSL's all round on my SSV. it has 20inch wheels. supposed to be a 50-60mm drop from standard. do i require a camber kit really bad? or is it something that can wait, or something that doesnt need to be done at...

    Glovebox light wont turn off

i think the glovebox assembly comes out to remove the globe. and im not too keen on doing that myself to be honest. a line out converter lets you keep your stock head unit/cd player, taps into factory wires and lets you run amplifiers/after market stereo gear. handy for newer cars where things...
