did mine my self,,in fact it was very easy,,make a template up,removal of factory bracing was the hardest,cutting was done with a very fine jigsaw blade,,the sunroof gets glued to steel roof then 4 bracket hold in place,,i was scared at first but worth it in end, mine looks factory,,i got told...
how about mild 304 with bolt ons then nos fogger kit, now that would make 12s on a bugget,,for the track,,had a red junkyard 308 standard stroke do 11.7 at paymara drag strip in mackay ,the motor cost 4g to build but ran that time

if your after big power 450hp+saturday night special go the carby,,but if street drivin keep efi,,would love to see a test with carby manifold plumbed for efi with throtel body..
best way is on the firewall you find a map sensor ,passenger side,follow where the hose goes,,,,they are like a small rubber line but go hard and brittle with the heat,,
one item that gets over looked is your map sensor vacum line..mine had a crack in the line ran rough heaps of black smoke out exhaust but engine light didn,t come on,changed the rubber line and ran great
i reckon you were doing nothing wrong,i had the same problem when flush my ski boat out,had big run in with neighbours,so now we give them heaps,burnouts,loud music,we go out of our way to make there life misrable,,
mine was granny shifting and slipping so last week put corvette servo and piston in ,for $30 bucks now spins the wheels in to second..best move i have done,,
hey there,,you can get ether a vr/vs calais or statesman one with speed sensitive,,but i changed mine to normal vr ,one with out the speed sensitive but still power steer and it felt better balance in the steering
just put the greenfoam chip in and corvette servo/3:45 diff..wow..turned a slug 5L auto into a tyre fryer,wheel spin now in first and second ,thats with lsd ,,standing starts have never been so much fun......many thanks to greenfoam for the chip and kevin for the corvette servo
these bosch 775 blue top injectors are standard on any 2.6 tr/ts magna..you can pick them up at wreckers cheap for set of 8 ..must of sold 20 sets over the years...

just did a google search on a 84 opel monza coupe,,it looks like a vk hatch,am told vl calais front will bolt up,,did brocky make one of these years ago? what a car,very diffrent...:D
if got no keys.take the back of ignition barrel of turn it till you hit the reds then leave for 1 hour maybe a bit longer with the reds turned on,then start as normal,bcm has time delay after so long the immobilisor will cut out...
had this problem one in a vn v8, ended up changing oil and filter and you wouldn,t belive it,it came good for the next 4 months then wouldn,t change into 3rd untill it was hot...

is there a mode called abuse mode in vr-vs autos? i remembrer once doing a bit of a burnout .had the shifter in 1st and it shifted into second while the tbar was still in 1st,,made a fool of me cause she didn,t want to spin in 2nd
