im not after a stock harmonic balancer. im after a under driven one, maybe 20-25%. im 99.9999999999% sure a wreckers wouldnt have one seeing im having issues finding someone who makes them in the first place.

Hey guys, i have a vs v6 with El Falcon thermos, i have them wired up to run off the factory wiring and what not, i know the engine fan is run by the ecu, ie the fan will get turned on by the ecu when it reaches a perset temp and i was wondering if this can be changed? i would like it to come on...

go KYB, better shocks than the monroe and they also make adjustable shocks so you can adjust how hard the ride of the car is, which is good if you want a comfortable car that you can drive everyday and a car that will handle on the occasional track day

19"s with 235/40/19 will be fine, but it can also be affected by the rim offset though, genuine holden wheels are fine but when you start going aftermarket just be aware of this. but as i said 19's will be fine with 235 wide tyres.

diff housing will bolt up, the only difference is the diff ratio i think. not sure what the ratio is. v6 one is 3.08. i have a feeling the v8 is like 3.45 or 3.2 changed between auto and manual. only thing is higher ratio is going to give you more accell. not really a bad thing. shouldn't be...

also if you have been giving a rich 02 reading that can also be heading towards map sensor. if it thinks it doesn't see enough vacuum it will start running rich. check the vacuum line that goes from the engine to the map sensor Vehicle speed sensor will prob be the three wires on the speed...

im pretty sure you do, as the wiring loom has different wires in different pins at the ecu, (eg vs v6 speedo changes from pin d2 to d5 i think) you can either go genuine loom and computer to suit the car with your engine and box or there are people who do patch harness's to convert your auto...

also if the vacuum line is off it can give ruff idle which could be a mistaken as a misfire.

yeh plug gap and coils is a good place to start, also make sure that the vacuum line is still connected to the engine and map sensor.

just asking but how did you check the fluid level, as some people make the mistake as to checking it when the engine isnt running....

this is true. there are people on ebay who sell chip that yes do increase power but do it such a manner that the engine may possibly be damaged. how these chips work is they give the ecu false reading from your sensors and trick the engine in to thinking things are happening which are not, like...

yeh really it doesnt worry me if the slots go below the minimum thickness, because i keep frequent taps on all my service parts and the minimum thickness is just there to prevent calipers spitting out pads when both pads and rotors are worn so the slots being lower than minimum mark isnt tht...
