You could buy (or pinch from your wife) some anti-static spray that chicks use on their clothing etc. Spray some of it on the seats and/or carpeting to reduce the incidence of the static

Mate, If you get stuffed around by them, likely, start off by writing a letter to the Dealer Principle. I'd also cc Holden themselves. Tell them what has happened and that it reflects very poorly on 'their' service centres to do things like this. Good Luck with it! :)

Phil, Of late its felt really 'clunky' going into gears. I no that commodores don't have the smoothest of shifts (had a VN before this one). But have noticed that under acceleration, say accerating after coming out of a corner, that the gear shifts seem to be quite severe. More so than before...

Regarding the laser gun. I saw the program as well. Apparently the laser hand held gun has a 1m wide beam at 100m, therefore at 300m range you are talking about a 3m wide beam. The guy sucessfully argued that it was on a bend and it was the vehicle going away around the bend. Case dismissed...
