    Best front end bushes?

I just bought some nolathane front caster rod bushes that are adjustable and paid 140. They are easy as to replace too. Undo big 24mm bolt on front Undo the 4 13mm bolts at the front Undo the 30mm bolt at rear if you are replacing the rear bushes Pull the rod out Find a big bolt that just fits...

I want to carbon fibre vinyl wrap around my stereo area

It can be very tedious, just take your time and also where you have to stretch the wrap inwards, put a dab of superglue there otherwise it will un stretch those parts in the heat of the day. Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk

What is the gear ratio of VZ SS LS1?

All autos had 3.08 except monaros with 3.46. All manuals had 3.46 except some hsv variants which had 3.7, possibly 3.9 in some. Not sure on the hsv ones 100% Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk

    Fault code P00016 and P00018

Could just be sensors, but by the looks of it there may be too much slack in the timing chain. Does the car drive alright? Miss fire at all? Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk

Completely interchangeable. Just remove old dif and put in new one. Also use loctite on the cv shaft bolts, they tend to come loose Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk

I'm not saying that raptor is a bad piece of equipment either, just it is a lot of money for the gains compared to other cars. Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk

    raptor supercharger

Was making 235rwkw with standard headers and cats. Never had it tuned after putting extractors on. But another guy put out 375rwhp with same setup as mine but extractors. Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk

    raptor supercharger

Hardly a difference. Change from ata cooler to wta cooler. Tuning still the same. Internals of the charger still the same. From my experience and the experience of a lot of other alloytec owners, there are problems running 12 psi. Both for the charger and the engine. Sent from my SM-N9005...

    raptor supercharger

I can tell you first hand, buy the v8. My raptor sv6 ran 13.4 at its peak, and my vy ss exhaust, intake and tune runs 13.2 with traction problems Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk

Curly One for you EFI Specialists :)

From my understanding of the ls1 tps, idle volts should be 0.7v and at 100% open no more than 4.7v. Anything outside these parameters will set a dtc. What a are the voltages you are getting? Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk

    Bleed point

Just another sigestion, there may not be a bleed screw as such, it may have to bleed through the radiator cap. Either way, the vz ls1 are not self bleeding as the overflow tank is separate so the pressurized part of the cooling system has to be air free. Just run the car with the cap off until...

Curly One for you EFI Specialists :)

Look for any vac leaks. Idle will rise if there is a vac leak. Or check your coolant temp sensor. Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk

    Bleed point

Vz ls1 don't have a tank. The bleed screw should be on the radiator somewhere up the top Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk

How to change the mass air flow sensor on my VZ

Combustion gases being blown into coolant, overheating

How to disable torque managemnt on VZ LS1

Actually torque management will stop a skid by electronically close the throttle butterfly if it feels too much torque is being applied to the wheels. Get a tune and be done with it Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk

    Which direction to take?

I have some experience with the alloytec performance so I think I'm in my right to say this, but please don't hate. I had an sv6, spent thousands on it with a supercharger and netted a result of 2nd quickest raptor sv6. More to be had with some tuning but I'm not going to brag about being...

    fault code descriptions

When these codes get logged, you need your mechanic to to an ecm presence check to see which ecu the scan tool can't communicate with. 3.6 head gasket question

Remove radiator cap and check level. then remove bleed screw on radiator incase an airlock has been in the radiator. Fill it up til the coolant comes out of the bleed screw and recheck overheating problem Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk

    VZ LS1 not losing traction

    Nulon oils

I think they cant say what oils are being tested because of privacy etc. I doubt they use home brand in their testing, they would be mineral oil anyways. I also use nulon, I think it's quieter and runs smoother also. Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk

    LS1 Problem's

Clearing codes does not make the problem go away, you need to decipher the codes and work out what is causing it to log. Because your car has been mafless tuned, the best person to go to is the original tuner, as the ecu is now running their software, not Holden's generic software, so he will...

    Diff oil

I just got some dif oil, I think it was Nulon 80w140, but has to have the additive included. Should say on the bottle if the appropriate additive is included. Although a mate of mine was told after he got his diff rebuilt that the additive is not required

    Vacuum leak or Cylinder dead?

Yea that's what I mean, instead of the spark going from coil to spark plug to combustion chamber, it may have just been sparking directly from coil to cylinder head inside the spark plug tube.
