Huh? The tabs are spot welded to the battery yes. It’s soldered to the PCB so just get the correct battery type and replace.. No need to reinvent the wheel.

I think the trick will be to find and hold the engine revolution once the noise happens with someone, as trying to distinguish with all the reving is hard. Also if the engine is not screaming, try increasing the revs to see if “it” moves out of the harmonic range.

True, more and than likely harmonic vibration.. At least com firm or deny as the only other thing is transmission.

May be as simple as dropping off the rears and adjust. Mind if you’re pulling on the hand brake while driving you might find nothing more than bits and pieces when those wheels come off.

You could just purchase the cable and lease the software and sort it yourself but software conversion from series 1 -> 2 can kill the cluster.

You could get a BT car kit to be intergrated via a plug, as for BT audio it'll be mods all the way.

Does the motor operate? I was required to implement a very special technique in getting it operational again, the tool required is a universal hammer as I find it can fix fuel pumps as well :P

Interior light and the sunroof are on different circuits. I assume you've swapped out/checked the fuse?

Could be my dementia talking but wasn't there an issue with power antenna at some stage grounding out? I could be completely wrong but worth isolating it just to see!?

I assume you read that without a bit of work it won't be suitable for switching your DRL's. Looks like you should grab/redirect the neg tigger to the fog relay and create your own circuit that'll work off the ignition with Parker light/headlight isolation.

Right I pulled the switch apart and noticed a crucial thing.. The PCB falls short of conductive material for your intended purpose. As a note, I didn't realise or did at the time that as mod was for driving lights being triggered off the high beams so there was no concern. Back to it, contact on...

As I said I modded mine so I could have it as high beam switch for my driving lights. If you're keen I can pop over tonight (17:00) as I'll be in Langwarrin. At worse I'll pull my switch out and apart to see what I did years ago?

Also consider when running brighter/hotter globes the polycarbonate/plastics tend to be affected over time.
