Relocate the ECM/ECU (what ever you want to call it)

No..no..Fu Manchu....:D I couldn't take you money for this.. What I would accept, yes ... very willingly ... would be some suggestion to be able to receive here in Brazil, the kit (cable + SOE software) provided by friend Jason (Tazzi - Envyous Customs). I've been trying to buy it for long...

Relocate the ECM/ECU (what ever you want to call it)

Constant ECU temp monitoring..? o_O Yes..!:) It is an evolution of the concept ...:D Thermal box to protect the ECU in the parking lot immediately after traveling in congested traffic. A condition in which, if there is no natural ventilation, the engine compartment becomes a true pizza oven...

Relocate the ECM/ECU (what ever you want to call it)

I apologize. I am not as frequent as I would like to follow topics. I send more pictures with details of the modification I made on my Omega CD. With these modifications, I never again experienced a "no-crank-no-start" failure. On the other hand, as I now have constant monitoring of the ECU...

Can I start without coded keys? (VZ 3.6 2005)

Immediately after creating this post, I realized how suspicious it may seem. The procedure I ask, however, is foreseen for emergencies. When for generic reasons, the coded key is lost. The fact that I only had one of the original keys (for now), made me think of a "plan B" in case I...

Can I start without coded keys? (VZ 3.6 2005)

Can one of my colleagues confirm that the existing procedure for starting the engine in case of emergency - key unavailability - specified for the VT 3.8 year 1999 can be applied to the vehicle VZ 3.6 year 2005? I refer to the procedure that includes the use of any key (mechanically compatible...

    Measuring Exhaust Backpressure - VZ Alloytec190 2005

not_an_aba_fan, thank you for the clarification. I'll check the catalysts as soon as I get a laser thermometer borrowed. Despite the focus of attention is the catalyst, and to have awareness that are important elements in the most responsible context, I still wonder if simply removing these...

    Measuring Exhaust Backpressure - VZ Alloytec190 2005

In Brazil, in practical terms, only the trucks and other vehicles converted to use Natural Gas are periodically subjected to inspection "strict" (and impeditive) referring emissions. To be honest, this question depends on much more than the owner's sense of responsibility than the law...

How to Remove VZ Driver's Seatbelt

Be assured that I dispense all the respect that I should dispense with the friends of this forum - one that most helps me here in Brazil. As owner of Holden VZ since 2005 and son of a professional "maintenance carburetors," it is quite interesting to observe the different points of view...

Brazilian Omega - little history & Alloytec 190 has interference?

Very good Mr. Markovr. It is exactly the kind of work I prefer to do here in my own garage! Especially the "special tools" .. :clapping: .. With this detail, I feel safe to perform the job. The rack ends of good quality, I find in Brazil with relative ease. You may be surprised at this...

Brazilian Omega - little history & Alloytec 190 has interference?

Thanks for all the feedbacks. I believe that at least for the chains I can expect some further evidence of wear. Steering rack This week, I came across a new evidence.
