Definetly not the case with traction control because every time you start the car you need to switch it off if you don't want it on. Easiest way to find out is to crack out the multimeter.
The front park assist button is still a momentary switch. Has a LED in it which lights up when active and they come in black or grey. Hazard switch is the only one that I know of that holds in and as mentioned takes up two spots.

Wrecking WL HSV GRANGE Shanghia Red with Cream leather...
Fair enough, a reply via pm would have been sufficient. Bold red capital letters was a bit over the top.
Maybe you should write the price is firm then you won't get people making offers. It was a realistic offer and I didn't mean to offend you. Cheers.
i sold my VZ berlina seats and door trims for $250 and they were even hard to move at that price! should be able to pick up some cloth SS seats for the $750. you wont get anything leather for $750 unless there stuffed
ebay is your best bet. get the black monaro ones to match the instrument cluster. they light up white the same as the speedo etc. ive got them fitted to mine.
lowdown guard rolling did my rear guards and he comes out to you. also trims up the rear plastic liner for fitment of 20's and slammed cars.
my car on speedy cheetah 19's. pretty sure you can get em in 20's aswell
these are the wire colours for the phone kit plug. should be able to use accessory wire off that.
Orange - 12V supply
Black/Green - Earth
Yellow - 12V Accessory supply
Yellow w/stripe - Radio mute signal
Blue w/stripe - Audio -
Blue - Audio +
when you checked for power at the plug did you run one cable of the multimeter to earth and one to the plug? if you tested the wires by running both multimeter cables to the plug and then flipping the pos and neg cables around its going to look like you have 12v at both wires. sounds to me like...
a spray painter/powder coater isn't a mechanic. so i wouldn't trust them playing with your brakes either...
leave the calipers on the car, clean them with brake cleaner and then mask up around them. once you've done that, give them a few coats with some enamel paint.
the best way is definitely...
yeah got the cheetahs, my guards are rolled already. maybe down the track ill buy some 9.5's and see how i go. mine is usually lowered on ultralows on the rear so would probably have to raise it.
what brand of rotors and pads did you buy? they should last alot longer than 5000kms. have you done any high speed hard braking to warp them so quick?
you shouldn't need to change the pads, just get the discs machined if they are not that old.
Car is looking sweet mate! do you have any issues with the 9.5's rubbing on the rear? ive got similar rims on mine but i was soft and went 8.5's all round. mine is fairly low tho, is yours FE2 height?
clock spring and the buttons i am 100% sure on. you could confirm by calling holden and getting the part number for a calais clock spring and a berlina one. the wiring part is only what ive been told by someone who has had theirs modified by a friend of theirs so its second hand info. like i...
congrats on the purchase, all you need to do is pull the headlight switch knob towards you and they will come on. you will see the fog light symbol printed on the knob up the top and the same symbol will illuminate green on your dash.
VZ berlina have the wiring provision for illuminating stereo controls in the clock spring already. i've looked into this a bit and have found you will need the calais black buttons which have the LEDs behind each button and must be from VZ as VY is different plugs. you can then change the button...
check the connection at the drivers pillar. there is a plug there which connects the roof wiring to the body wiring. i think its going to be a case of tracing the wires and checking for power. a wiring loom location diagram would come in handy here.
The thin black with white stripe is only for the seat belt warning chime on VY-VZ. nothing needs to be hooked up to it on VT.
All you need is the power wires, Red and Black.
yeah unfortunately the proper way is to take the rear wheels off. get a mate to pull the handbrake when you adjust each side evenly a full rotation. don't go to tight because you might start to get the whooshing noise while your driving from the rear.
Daz88p - yeah mate there Venetians. only have them in occasionally cause they rattle like a mofo.
commie - there the VZ monaro gauges. ive got an ipod jack on my setup too. if you look very closely you can see the white plug underneath the useless flap under the stereo. tucks away when not in use.
VZ calais is an awesome car. if your only getting an auto i would definitely get the calais. so many more features than the SV6. if you get a non R8 HSV they are reasonably priced but insurance for any HSV is not cheap.
