Hey mate. Yeah its SIDI but the closest e85 fuel to me is almost 1 hour away. Just doesnt seem worth it. Wish it were closer.

On my old vx ss it was a front bar off job. Mate its easy as.. Takes 30 minutes/1 hour MAX.

Ahh might be ok for a weekend warrior. Aslong.as your.not fussed with fuel consumption. Cam+4.11's will not be pretty in terms of fuel.

What other mods are done to your car? In all honesty the money could be used more wisely.. 3.7 is a nice ratio with good low down torque without sacrificing hwy fuel economy.

Numbers mean nothing. Different dyno's will yield different results. What brand dyno is.it? The only numbers that matter are the 1/4 mile times. That will show you the real world gains.

You are right in saying it wont make much difference going to 3.9's. But 4.11's is just wheelspin heaven. I would reccomend test driving a car with 4.11 diff before getting it done. They arent for everyone.

Not sure about ute/one tonner. But fuel filter on a sedan is between diff and wheel on drivers side. Hope this helps. P.s its a prick of a job.. Theres is a thread on it here somewhere

Pretty sure you'll be looking at closer to $15,000 for a supercharger. As with the LS1 if you really want to make power with forced induction you'll need to upgrade engine internals for sure.

My 190 still beats my mates VY S Super6. Just try to find yourself a nice clean VZ sv6/calais mate. Best of luck.

You would have to be insane to buy an ecotec if you can afford an alloytec mate. The vy motor only makes I think 140-150kw. That's another 40kw of power plus a newer car. Not To mention the 5 speed auto gear box.

The early 190's had the black intake manifold. I think around early-mid 05 they changed. For what reason I'm not sure.

The sv6 has the exact same engine and gearbox (5speed auto) as the stato or caprice. Consumption all comes down to your right foot. If anything a stato/caprice would be 1-200kg heavier than the sv6 and therefore be slower and probably worse on fuel. On the other hand though. The features...
