i have a vsII never had a problem
the really only advantage of the CAI is u can hear it wooshing at high revs hehehe i dont think it adds that much (if any) noticable power
sounds good...
i gather its roughly like this:
CAI / filter - 3-5kw
exhaust (cat back) - 4-6kw
good extractors 13-15kw
high flow cat 4-5kw
all up if you do all of the above youre looking at a 20-25kw gain somewhere in that region
ps: could well be a fair bit more on a v8, theyre what i was told for...

weirdest thing has been happening to my commo
seems since i got these mods donw recently:
Pacemaker headers
2.5" cat back Lukey sports exhaust
Pedders sports ryder suspension all round
my car now slows down when i let it go (no brake or accelerator) down a hill
for example...
i got my vsII done at pedders, 1.5" drop.
he said to bring it back in 100 k's and he'd tell me if i needed a camber kit, said it would cost me 380 if it did.
my vs has just had new engine mounts (hydraulic ones which had perished)
cost me 330 s&f, but the dude discounted the labour because it was pedders and hed already pulled most of the front suspension and cross member out so it wasnt as much time for them
