    brought a brand new diff for ve ss when i took the old one out i marked the drive shaft to the yoke on my old diff i have a new yoke on the new diff do i just bolt drive shaft straight up to the the new diff and ignore the alignment marks to the new yoke?

    i am replacing my axle seals left and right as left side is leaking so going to replace both,went to holden for a price check on the seals,$116.72 each plus gst,then they said $73 each pk x2 as have to use there diff oil for the new seals,cant believe the price,so when to bnt auto they priced me...

    had another day at the drags got a better time,13.68 seconds losing alot of traction at the 60foot,going to get some semi slicks and see if i can get that down 2.168 at the 60foot tryed fethering the throttle but very difficult to do,as your mind wants yah to just floor it,

    last drag times i was trying to get some more time out of it at the last meet i had the tyres down to 25psi got the 60ft time down to 2.135 as yous can see in the photos im going to drop the pressure abit more thought id try taking out the air filter just a thought its only factory 6liter...

    i debadged me ve ss series 1 and went to take the lion badge off the boot had to leave it on as there are two holes under the lion badge mine were stick on.

    got back from the drags no diff problems as commented on previously,certificate for best reaction time 0.004 102.76mph 13.8 second et.not bad i think for standerd ve 6.0litre put the tyre pressure to 25psi which helped a little still losing traction at the 60ft mark 2.135

    thank for the replys,getting mods done when money situation is abit better,why would it make it slower removing the rear mufflers off, they weigh abit wouldnt it make the car lighter,or am i kidding myself.i have done runs with trction control on but seems to be slower,bit hard not to lose...

    thanks for the replys, the headers are pacemakers designed to attach to the original cats and exhaust from ve ss 6.0litre,i was just abit concerned that i would get a engine light but as i dont have to remove the cats should be ok as jwoodsy said. once again thanks for the replys
