yeah that sounds about right, i got quoted $5k to get the clubby resprayed and some dings taken out:) just make sure you go to a reputable workshop so you get a decent job done.

if you have the split covers on take the drivers side cover off and look for the thick pipe that runs from the throt to the back of the motor, where it connects to the throt body check if there is a split in it, it only rubber and should pop straight off, i just replaced mine with a bit of fuel...

does it have a rough idle, and almost stalls when you go in reverse? and is there a sucking noise coming from around the throttle body area?

hey mate, otr and mafless is a good start, wont need to change the diff, replace the factory headers with extractors and hiflow cats and a decent exhaust with give it a nice note. usually if its an exchaser it would have BT1 on the plate. hope this helps.

take it to holden and get them to do a tech 2 diagnostic, had the same problem with my vx and had to get the drivers side seat airbag replaced.

hey mate, the black inserted headlights are series 2 i think, i have a series 2 vx clubby and have the black lights and ive seen black lights on the calias but not any berlinas yet

hey there, cant help with the colour, but the kit is a vx clubby kit with the front bar designed to fit the vt, as for the gold trim on the bumpers, on the genuine clubbys that gold is factory and the paint code for the gold is xxjb4, hope this helps

hey mate i had my ps2 in my vn in my glove box. fitted perfect:) but i had an in dash tv not a roof mounted one so i was able to run the wires up under the dash, but you would have run the wires down the kick panel along the sil panels then up the centre pillar and into the roof lining.

20k sounds about right, i paid roughly the same and its exactly the same colours as mine only dif is i dont have the twin turbos on it:(, its a steal with twin turbos on it

hey slaughtknight have you tried holmart.com.au, they sell everything holden and hsv. had a quick look and they have genuine ones for $198ea.

bought myself a VX2 clubby a little over a year ago with 60000kms on the clock..... sine then i have replaced the radiator,water pump, pwr steer pump and rack, most of the bushes in the front end and now probs the bcm aswell

yep i had the exact smae prob on my vt calais every time the lights came on power sterring went funny.

yes the middle button only locks the back windows, its more of a child saftey thing

the bcm is the body control module and it is located below the instrument cluster to the right of the steering cloumn. basically the bcm controls all of the extras the car come out with such as elec windows,cent lock etc. so you will need a mid level bcm. hope this helps but to get this bcm...
