Check that the oil pressure relief valve piston is in the right way - the V8 is very similar to the V6, and is located behind the oil filter in the oil pump. Apparently he V8 is notorously hard to get oil pressure when first rebuilt too.
5 fish tanks - two with orandas, one with a large comet, two with livebearers, one with mixed tropical.
Also have a 10yo pet scaly-breasted lorikeet (a greenie) who is more like a dog that thinks he's human than a bird!
I like it a little on the drier side, but still add 250g Lactose (a non-fermenting milk sugar), you could add more if you like it sweeter. I also use juice (apple and pear) instead of all water and adjust the dextrose to compensate for the sugar in the juice. 500g of light malt also adds a...
I think I've seen it at Dan Murphy's, but it's a bit on the exxy side to drink all the time - usually buy Mercury or Gaymers if I'm away from home... but make my own to drink at home, at around 8-9% alcohol it's pretty good!!
^^ Bellhousing would be different, not sure on mounting etc.
And yes.. still have it.. has been replaced with a R154 Box and was only in the car for a couple of months until the R154 box arrived.
Our local Pedders (who also do our race car setup and are very good) told me to replace them with Whiteline adjustables as they are alot stronger. I haven't done it yet, but will get around to it sometime in the future...
the speedo will be out 12% (3.45/3.08).
The speedo will be out in proportion to your speed, so say at when you are doing 60, the speedo will say 67, when doing 80, it will say 90. You can't put a flat figure on how many k's it will be out.
I picked up a whole diff from a wrecker with 3.45 gears for around $100-150 from memory. While used (obviously) they were in very good condition and not whiny at all. Every six cylinder VL has 3.45 gears so they are extremely common, whereas V8's had 3.08 Ratio, the same as all VR's (and some...
Still have them - Tyres are in Virginia, just off the gateway. Price is for fitted or not fitted (were going to fit for free as we are motorsport tyre store). The tyres came off my own car.
PFFFFFFTTTTTTT.... don't agree on the 'Men's' bull****.
I've been to Bathurst and the only issue I have is that most of the drunkards don't even know what's going on on the racetrack.. But yeah, I've been to the top of the Mountain and while it's not the most 'sophisticated' of places, it...
Set of 4 Nexen N3000 Directional Silica compound Tyres like the ones in the pic.
Still have 6mm Tread, apart from where they have worn to around 3.5mm on the inside edge from being on the front with neg camber. Can fit this to the outside edge so that tyre life is not affected.
$50...
Yes, the early R31 models - although some didn't really have the circle lights.
They are getting harder to find as I know my dif guy (we go through centres alot :whistling ) has a permanent call into the local wreckers to put aside all 3.7 and 4.11 centres for him as they come in.
ALL VL's 6cyls are 3.45 ratio - just go and get one from the hundreds at a wrecker, that's what I did for my VR and got a Jaycar corrector kit to fix the speedo
It's a little hard to explain...but..
That 10K you put into the business sits on the Balance sheet under Owners Equity or Capital. It does not affect whether the business makes a profit or a loss. The balance sheet is a statement of your businesses assets (equipment, money owed to you...
Yes, but you must keep a logbook for 12 weeks as evidence of how you calculated the percentage of business use.
Here is the relevant info on the ATO site
The way we do it is my other half pays the fuel bill from his own pocket and at the end at the end of every month or so adds up all...
We have two vehicles for the business (sole trader) - one is a commercial vehicle and therefore under commercial rego and we claim 100% use because it is only used for business purposes.
The other is a run-around commodore wagon which is used for 75% business and 25% personal, determined by...
Doh!! Have the kit all assembled and have been looking for the correct circuit, but the dodgy book I have doesn't have the colours listed correctly on the wiring diagram. I'm assuming the easiest place is by the PCM - from what I can determine the VSS in/output is the wires at B5 (Blue &...
It's not that simple - there are a couple of ADR approved fibreglass/carbon fibre bonnets around, but most of them cannot be legally fitted. In Qld you cannot fit one that is not already ADR Approved, or to fit one without approval you have to get approval from Qld Transport, which will only be...
IMHO it will look like you crashed it and got a replacement panel and haven't bothered painting it.
Black bonnets originated in rally, and extended to historic racing (way before drifting) to help stop sun glare - nowadays I reckon it's done for w*** factor (serious cars I know with carbon...
The celica boxes most people use are actually alloy housing (W57-58 or even W55), which is alot of their appeal as they are lighter than cast housings.
We've been running a W57 in the competition car for many years, but have reached the point of it's strength limits. It would be fine if it...
