Hi guys, Got a VS statesman and the valley seal was leaking. So replaced the valley seal, no problems. But while it was open found out the previous owner hadn't serviced it often enough and it was pretty filthy. Cleaned it up / vacuumed as much of the lose stuff as possible. Closed it up...

Are you a hundred percent sure it's the immobiliser causing this to happen? Try putting the car in Reverse and starting it, instead of Park.

Listen to all the pullys on the front of the engine, i would be going with a bearing somewhere. My tensioners bearing makes a tapping sound every so often.

Hi, I'm assuming you're using Window 7's homegroup functionaility? If so, you need to right click on your libraries in My Computer on the top left, and set homegroup access to read only. Not Read/Write. If you're using network only, i'm not to sure.

Don't spray/wet coil pack, leads, plugs, fuses anything electrical really. Only would suggest doing it by hand.

My lights off ebay, are only "red" when the brakes are on, when just lights they are pink. Other than that, they are good.
