its already got a 2.5 inch exhaust with twin 3'' dumpys but its like a 4wd atm definatley needs to be dumped and to loose those horrible rims.

true.. but i dont trust autos much and a manual is much more fun. i suppose another option is to keep the auto and sell the wagz either whole or in pieces then spend some of the money strengthining the auto.

heres mine (vk calais) pic of the headrests and pins the seat gets put in as normal then the pins get inserted through the seat top into the brackets and get twisted in to lock them in place then the headrests just slide in the black pins.

im thinking of respraying the gts copies because of gutter rash what colour do you think would look best black ,white ,champagne ? im leaning towards black but would like opinions on what would look best before i spend the time rubbing them back and painting.

vk /vl calais came with rear headrests theyre the solid type with a hole in the centre im pretty sure you could get a set of these with the brackets and pins and vinyl dye them to match your seat ,otherwise get a set of sle ones retrimmed in matching ribbed velour.

remove the bumper skin lay it face down on the grass and just stand on the inside of the dent it should just pop straight out, ive had to do it to a vr bar before, worked for me.

exactly what i was thinking, ive put a few in for friends they payed around $400 to $500 for a motor.

no clearance issues at all dosent even scrub no matter how bumpy the road is ,i got them secondhand on ebay so i dont know where they sell them new.

i wish mine only cost $600 ,mine originally came on vr clubbys but they scrubbed badly on the rear guards will update soon as im starting the interior next weekend.

im going to get the bars resprayed and see how the rest comes up with a good polish first, as its never been polished.

probably been changed, but if it was me id be keeping the solid diff at least your tyres wont wear out the inside edges due the camber with irs diffs.

as already mentioned check the oil pickup for blockages .

on a early commodore theyre ok if the cars dumped with vr acclaim caps otherwise i prefer alloys ..

if it is for charging phones etc you could put a lighter socket in that has a flat cover and no lighter, to make it a little more discreet just my opinion.

its running ,i made a new loom for the gas lockoffs all 3 of them ran it from the ignition switch wire and it works perfectly ..:yahoo:

thanks for your input its much appreciated , im having a crack at making my loom tonight as i bought everything needed but if that fails ill have a look at the ignition wires for wires spliced in.
