    VT Commodore rear sway bar.

He's quoted $197 for a standard rear sway bar new or $204 for a pedders heavy duty. Tough choice hmmm haha.

    VT Commodore rear sway bar.

The dealership did its previous services up til 200 000km the mechanic is reliable I know he isn't trying to rip me off. The dealership in question is known to be quite dodgy and is why I stopped taking it to them. For all we know the sway bar could not have been there for a long time. My...

    VT Commodore rear sway bar.

Are they standard on a VT when I got my car from my parents I refused to get it serviced at the dealership and when I took it to my mechanic he was doing a suspension check and found that the dealership had removed the rear sway bar. Is it standard without one?

    Making exhaust note deeper

I've got a great exhaust centre here. They only want $200 for the resonator and 3 inch pipe

    Making exhaust note deeper

I talked with the exhaust centre today and they said what they could do is change the pipe from the centre muffler (Lukey) and make it a 3 inch pipe rather then a 2.5 and put a 3 inch resonator on the back.

    Making exhaust note deeper

When the problem first occured and I took it back to the exhaust centre they thought it was the leads and they put a new set of leads on and it didn't fix the problem. Thanks for the advice though.

    Making exhaust note deeper

It does have the high flow cat on it as well. I would say we have a near identical system but i've got a resonator. I did have complications when I first put the extractors and highflow cat on. The exhaust centre screwed the car pretty good made it so the car wasn't using all its cylinders...

    Making exhaust note deeper

I put a set of pacemaker extractors on my car and I think it made it sound worse. Previously was just a lukey catback. What can i do to make the tone deeper I also have a resonator on the back.

Just have a few nagging problems with my car and need advice problems are 1. Aerial wont go fully down because of a bend in it, the aerial motor still will drive it up and down but will stop before aerial is fully down and makes a jammed noise should I get a replacement aerial or the whole...

My VT already has Pacemaker extractors and a highflow cat and a lukey catback as well as a K&N Panel filter which im looking to upgrade to a SS Inductions Cold Air Intake soon, which is why I was thinking of the throttle body.

    Throttle body

Im looking at installing a 70mm throttle body. Will i use more fuel and just gain power or make it run more efficiently and use less like extractors?

    Hotdog or Resonator?

Nah ill keep the resonator on it for now. Still has a wicked growl to it. Feels like I'm driving a VY now I dunno why lol.

    Hotdog or Resonator?

I got the resonator put on. The car is quieter no then when it was a catback.

    VT Commodore rear sway bar.

I've been told my car has no rear sway bar. Do VT's come standard with them.

    Hotdog or Resonator?

Its just a really high pitch sound especially when its changing from 2nd to 3rd. And i prefer it to be deep then high.

    Hotdog or Resonator?

I got extractors and a high flow cat on my VT the other day. And i think it is too loud and high pitch for my liking. Just the Lukey catback sounded better and the exhaust place said they could do a hotdog or resonator. Which one do you reckon?

Unfortunately I won't be going back to that mechanic as i'm moving to Wagga to start my career in the RAAF next month.

Vt screwing up since putting on extractors

Yeah they paid for it. I had to take it to a mechanics to get the computer test done. The mechanic refused to make me pay for it and he billed them. Cause that mechanic had serviced my car only last week.

Lukey Catbacks on a VT are awesome.

Vt screwing up since putting on extractors

I got it fixed. Turns out that the exhaust centre that put it in stuffed a few things whilst putting it in. I took it to a mechanic and got a diagnostic done and it came up the following Code:001 Low speed fan, No BMC Response Code:002 Theft Deterrent Signal Missing Code:003 Throttle Position...

Vt screwing up since putting on extractors

I put a new set of Pacemaker extractors and a high flow cat yesterday and my car has been running really dodgy ever since. It seems to be choking on fuel and cuts out for a second as I accelerate. I thought I fixed it today when i took it back and they put on new ignition leads. But it is still...
