The combustion chambers are a little different on the VT, otherwise they are the same. Some people say the early ones are better quality etc but they are the same

Check for a leaky injector/s also, that's a common problem with them struggling to start when left for a while

Next best thing you can do is make a very good cold intake, a 100mm pipe from the airbox to the front of the car is the best way, after that a good twin system but that's much less gain per dollar than the CAI

I don't believe you should ever run less than 28 psi in a radial, they aren't like slicks with bendable sidewalls where you can run low pressures. I run 38 psi in mine 225, 15"'s at the drags, I've run all kinds of pressures and that works well for me. Anywhere above 28 should be fine, below...

You went 9.24 actually maybe a 9.4 9.3? beforehand, you defiantly went 9.24 the night I was there swapping tunes, it's written in my thread but if you are prepared to run advance on the dizzy and have no other mods 16-18 degrees is good. I wouldn't do it myself since it's not ideal but it works...

The sound is much better with pacemakers which is good for me since I don't run any insulation. But all the quick times with stock motors have been done on the stock VN header so that defiantly says something too. I would never buy them new at the price they are for a stock or near stock car...

If the cars registered and you are using it once in a while keep it, newer cars aren't that much better than a VN really. VN's are worth much more as a car than they are as money

The servo doesn't change anything apart from making the shift from 1st to second harder and faster. Which is mostly what you need. Everything else about the gearbox stays the same
