oh, does this mean i cannot get abs codes altogether? engine codes work though.

no mate - my diff has the cogs + sensors but just cant get any error codes. like usually i notice the fan turns on while getting engine codes. for the abs codes nothing happens -- just like turning the key on!! :hmmm:

I'm trying to get abs error codes by bridging 5th and 12th pins on the connector. but i get nada. I can can get engine codes fine but i need abs codes as the lights on, i am certain i had the correct pins and they were shorted. is this an error in itself?:bang:: also on the engine code code...

trans fluid was ok , but i'll recheck. and the engine idles fine.

On further investigation of my new car.(AUTO) I've noticed I can not drive in 1st or 2nd. If I put it in to these gears it will creep very slowly, but if i give it any gas it just revs and goes no where. Is this gonna cost the earth?all other gears fine.

My ABS light on. I have a VR SS 5.0L. I've Checked both fuses under the bonnet and also the brake fluid levels. Any other advice would be very welcome. cheers
