Yes, I've had my VE for around 10 months, changed the front tyres & included an alignment and balance. A few weeks ago, I had the tyres rotated and decided to align and balance again. I was informed that even the smallest pot holes, speed humps or can seriously affect the alignment on VE's.

I have just fitted a set of assymetrical Nankang AS1 245/45 R18 (at $219 each) for my Lumina and to expect a 400000k life span when rotated and balanced in 5000k intervals. Good tyre at a great price for the budget conscious VE owner.

Shopped around and searched the web only to find that Nankang appear to be the best 'value for money' performance tyre. I was quoted $219 ea for the NS2 18" compared to Falken @ $300 and Kumho @ $269. The dealer also through in free wheel rotation in 5000k intervals.

Yes, the final option would be tempting but just a fraction over the budget. Just phoned an exhaust shop who recommended spot welding the tip. Is this a suitable alternative?

What is the best method to attach a Chrome Exhaust Tip onto a standard VE exhaust pipe? The Chrome Tip ia approximately 2mm larger in diamater larger than the exhaust pipe? Any suggestions? Cheers.

Whilst shopping around for mine, I test drove an '07 Omega (ex fleet vehicle) where the carpet was raised on the RH rear passnger side. Terrible sight for a near new vehicle, then thought how could this happen?
