    New project flares...

    Project complete. Took a good few days as the front was a piece of cake.. However the rears i had to modify as i could see where the 20s were rubbing. Makes a more aggressive look similar to the VE series.

    I have always found metal easier to work with than fibre glass. Plus with the metal i was able to weld in nuts to make mounting easier.

    I am pretty sure that the ss sedan would be an IRS setup with the rear suspension and diff. The wagon should have the same setup as your ute. Just pop your head under your ute then compare to the wagon and sedan and you will understand. Before you ask if you can change the ute rear to an irs...

    It's 3 or 5 mm gal sheet with a carbon wrap. Its just too thick to cut with snips. I ended up getting stuck into it with a grinder then a dremal.

    It's a converted 195i 304 from a vt into a 1996 S pac. I thought it was part of just the air con system but i am not an expert. So as the air con pump was removed to fit a vortech blower. I should be able to pull the condenser and fan unit out?? Who would give me loads of room for an engine oil...
