Hi All How should the ALDL connector be wired in? I ask as i have a vehicle that has had an engine conversion and i have been told that the local workshops can't access the ecu.. I want to hard wire the connector to solve this.

Project complete. Took a good few days as the front was a piece of cake.. However the rears i had to modify as i could see where the 20s were rubbing. Makes a more aggressive look similar to the VE series.

Not many options out here... (Alice Springs).. I have learnt since buying a modified vehicle that there is no one here with a dyno..... ffs

I have always found metal easier to work with than fibre glass. Plus with the metal i was able to weld in nuts to make mounting easier.

I am pretty sure that the ss sedan would be an IRS setup with the rear suspension and diff. The wagon should have the same setup as your ute. Just pop your head under your ute then compare to the wagon and sedan and you will understand. Before you ask if you can change the ute rear to an irs...

It's 3 or 5 mm gal sheet with a carbon wrap. Its just too thick to cut with snips. I ended up getting stuck into it with a grinder then a dremal.

Project completed Next upgrades inc engine oil cooling system, electric water pump system and body kit upgrade to include 45mm front and 55mm back flared wheel arches to reduce the rubbing of the 20" rims with the boys on rough road. I wonder what i could get if put up for sale....

It's a converted 195i 304 from a vt into a 1996 S pac. I thought it was part of just the air con system but i am not an expert. So as the air con pump was removed to fit a vortech blower. I should be able to pull the condenser and fan unit out?? Who would give me loads of room for an engine oil...

I have heard of some software that allowed a tuner to download, wipe then tune a factory ecu. I ask as it seems that after getting warm the car goes into a limp mode where the revs climb then drop. I believe i still have a stock pcm, would removing the battery cause the setting to be wiped??
