Better late than never, just picked the car from getting a RAMJET intake, New Bosch leads and a MAFless tune. Feels great, so much power through the rev range especially >4000rpm. 253rwkw which is pretty solid. Feels even better than the number though. No more popping or stuttering ha ha.

Lets hope so. Tune hopefully in a fortnight.

So sensors came. Great price 2 x genuine Bosch O2 sensors for $106 delivered. Installed with anti-seize good results, fuel consumption dropped significantly and idle is a lot smoother and not as choppy. Still feels it’s lacking power......maybe I have too high expectations haha. Still keen on...

FYI - O2B1S2 is not changing voltage. Stays at 0.445 v.

VY's have 2 O2 sensors VZ have 4. If you have an aftermarket exhaust they can "turn off" the post cat O2 sensors in the custom tune. The sensors themselves are plug and play, wont need to adjust the tune for the sensor replacement. Have you got a scan tool? Like this one...

Oh yeh I do haha! Honestly I have read countless hours worth of forums regarding cam grinds, lift etc and I am still nowhere close to a decision on what cam I want...... Might talk to the tuner when I go MAFless.

So borrowed a mates OBD2 scan tool and checked over the car. Looks like one of my O2 sensor is faulty. Millivolt Reading should fluctuate between 0.1mV and 0.9mV, one performs well the other stays constant at 0.445mV. Probably why still feeling sluggish and running at 30 L/100km. New leads, lead...

Ok update, took the heat shields off the two suspect plugs and 'clicked' them back in position and went for a drive. No hesitation, no spluttering or popping when under full acceleration or low revs in high gear which Is great. Might of found our culprit. It's interesting to see score/damage...

Good call mate. Will do. Also might try using high temp lead protectors as opposed to the steel heat shield. The protectors look to be a smaller diameter than the heat shield. Hopefully get a better clamp on to the spark plug on the two suspect leads. Ill keep everyone updated. Cheers

Righto, checked torque of all header bolts. All good 25 Nm. Took off all leads and inspected. There was some what looks to be plastic debris in the coil side plug. Had to fish out with tweezers see photo. Interesting when putting the leads back on; on two of the leads at the spark plug didn’t...

Possibly, is there any way to test or inspect coil condition. I have read of an example where you start the car in the dark and check for arcing?

No haven’t checked header bolts. Will recheck torque on bolts tomorrow. That’s interesting, I used the same header bolts. Interesting to see if the flange thicknesses are different between the stock headers and the aftermarket. Thanks for the info. Keep it coming!!!!

Idles fine runs fine under normal running. Took it for a drive tonight, now it’s hesitating or stuttering when under load low revs. Does that still sound like symptoms of a header leak? Cheers for the feedback.

Plugs came out and leads all clear of header pipes. Mind you due to the size of the primaries they are close. FYI they are ceramic coated.

heyo... VY SS installed new 1 7/8 extractors with 3" cats over the weekend, starts fine, idles fine, normal driving fine but when under load or accelerating hard there is a slight hesitation and exhaust pop/crack. Any thoughts, exhaust leak, coils, plugs? Anyone else experience this? Cheers
