as you can see in nut krackers image, the wires are labelled differently for the rear right speaker at the radio vs at the speaker. the wires going from the radio to the b pillar plug are blue/black and blue/orange, but the loom that goes from the b pillar plug to inside the door, is...

drivers side rear speaker wires should be blue/red and blue/black from memory. inside the back doors theyre the same, but in the car itself theyre different.

you can literally punch them out, theres 4 small sections of steel holding them in place. assuming you dont have a gas tank, theres nothing to hit underneath. wont need spacers, the 6x9s will fit in the holes(ends may need slight persuasion with a hammer depending on the speaker) door trims...

kind of akward to get to while driving isnt it? the switch is only momentay, so you'd need to run a latching relay, or replace it with a regular on/off switch

you could pick up a m62 blower and matching manifold, but the blower inlet neck will need cutting and moving as they were in fwd cars, so east-west, and didnt have to contend with the firewall. as said though, the manifold you linked wont fit yours

what wires have you tapped into for power and ignition?

or even just a poor/loose pwoer or earth connection on the engine
