i always get around the 20,000kms, but i do buy a softer compound tyre.
at teh dealership i work we get back a lot of the fleet cars that have 40,000 kms and most of them have over 50% tread, (mostly highway driving)
he did make a mention of the light comes on when de activating traction control though.
the car was not an x police car was it.
i have heard that they had traction disabled all the time.

number 15 on the pic is the front Z bar bush, 6 & 7 will probably get done at teh same time if they are showing any signs of wear. Plus this price should include a wheel alignment, it all seems about right to me, those front bushes

normally the belts don't brake if there is no other problem their like a tensioner out of line or a pulley starting to seize up.

i'd say something is up with your traction control then.
if i hit it half way through turning on to a road in the
wet i only get the back to step out about a foot or
so before trac kicks in and i hit the steering wheel :lol:
