    "IF" you also bought the engine from the installer I think you should go back to him. If you bought the motor from somewhere else and just paid the installer labour to fit the motor then I don't think it's the installer's problem.

    My control arms (VX1 clubsport) didn't have provisions for the toe rods. So for me fitting the later model k frame with the old arms would've been pointless. Just look and see if your control arms have the provisions/mounting brackets for the toe rods...

    As far as I know, if you use the VX diff and tailshaft it should all fit straight up.

    I rang Holden the other day and got a quote for water pump gaskets which I found very reasonable (<$7 each) so thought I would try my luck with the rocker cover gaskets and was told "$97 EACH" :O :O :O Obviously I didn't buy them lol.

    Also price depends alot on what parts you are using. ie stock clutch or aftermarket, new nuts bolts etc or used, manual loom or modding the auto one, manual brake pedal or cutting down the auto one.

    Manual conversion is definitely worthwhile and fairly straightforward if you research it well first. Could get it done in a couple of days if you make sure you have ALL your parts ready to go.
