thanks mate they're pretty good dude, not as good as no venetians but still pretty good! only thing I've found is mine are painted white so sometimes the reflection of them reflects on the glass making it harder to see but other then that for the most part it's pretty good haha

hi guys, few more snaps and a bit more info on the calais ended up fitting a new exhaust system (twin 2 1/2 inch system) replacing the boot lid replacing the front seats with wh statesman seats! decided to keep the calaia and go crazy! LS1 and respray for now but we'll see what happesns next!

thanks mate! not sure of the offset but I think it's the same front to rear, just have that extra inch either side on the rear (+40's I think), rears are 245/30/20s and fronts are just 225/35/20's :)

well most white walls are done but shaving the writing off then applying the paint but cops see it as you're a changing the structural integrity of the tyre and weakening it. It's stupid because they take the slightest bit off and the side wall is the strongest part of the tyre anyway but yeah...

Nah i agree, the motor actually shat itself so it only stays up now, I've looked into replacing it but it's not a priority haha I've spent a lot of nights and weekends working on it so I just want to enjoy the car as is for a little bit before I start fixing up the little things.

Hey guys, bit of an update on the calais, not sure if anyone checks this out but still haha So yeah! I ended up doing the head gaskets, got it all back together and it feels like a new car so pretty happy with that out come. I basically had the heads reco'd, machined, valves cut, valve stem...

so I ended up getting 20 inch HSV pentagons and the front rear airbag system is still not in! been waiting on a few more parts from the states and the head gasket went on her, so she is now in the garage with everything apart. will upload pics tomorrow. Heads are getting reco'd and all gaskets...
