I'm pretty sure I read somewhere about this fault being caused by removal of the unit by pulling from inside the cassette entry. Apparently it caused the internal circuit board with the buttons mounted on it to become dislodged. Sounds like it would be easy enough to fix. Best of luck, Raff

Sounds like the u shaped coolant pipe on the thermostat housing, mine did the same thing. Just need to take off throttlebody and supercharger u-bend to get to it. Id replace the thermostat while I was there.

Gidday, believe or not mine did the same and installing a 4 point camber / toe kit in the rear fixed it. The rear end car steer the car as it goes over bumps causing that effect.

Sounds to me like a vacuum leak. Try a bit of CRC or WD40 and spray a little around the spacer etc, with the engine running, any change means a leak.
