Im looking at a VZ steering wheel on ebay and on the listing it says will only suit VZ, not a VY... i thought all vz/y wheels were interchangeable? will it fit?

this happened to me too, turned out to be warped rotors..

just put an ss front on it, dont waste money on a grange one take the trolley strips off and some calais/ss headlights on this and it will start looking even nicer

finally got my exhaust tip welded on.... and got around to doing the other side of the calipers new roof lining is in too, ill get a photo when i can be bothered next on the list is to do my wheels matte black and hopefully a leather retrim if its a decent price

anyone know of a place in the northern suburbs of melbourne that powder coats/sprays them? obviously not a backyard job and at a decent price? i wanna do my ssv's matte black

just take it to your local car stereo place im sure they'll charge nothing to 10 bucks

nevermind, fixed... the back lights werent hooked up properly, got caught in the lining when i put it back on and they dislodged... all good now :)

not at all... ive had the same problem before as i said in my first post but all i did was change the fuse... this time the lights stay on whenever i leave the fuse in

i blew a fuse while putting in my new roof lining, ive done it before by shorting it out by the light accidently hitting the roof but all i did was replace the fuse to fix it.... this time when i replace the fuse the lights are constantly on and when i switch the main switch on the roof it just...

nah ill put the roof in when i get a day off... as for the calais surround, just swapped the needles and surround part, make sure u mark where the needles were before with tape else its a nightmare to line up after it lol i learnt the hard way

finally found a genuine black roof lining on ebay, that will be going in when i pick it up and im looking for the suede plastics under the dash hopefully one of the local wreckers will have them

you have to take every part of the fascia off... its underneath absolutely everything

yeah this is so painful to do... the amount of times ive tried and its still not 100% you just end up giving up lol its the worst design

holden will have them but good luck getting them off again when you need to take off your bar haha

dont be lazy you'll regret it, get a grill from the wreckers if money is a problem...

hahahahaha the exact same thing happened to me, biggest pain in the ass theres screws under each of the wheel arch and obviously the grill too - thats how the front bar comes out then theres i think 3 or 4 bolts that secure the lights in place, one on either side from memory and one behind -...

i tried that too... doesnt work either, so i just bought the aftermarket ss ones... they won't lose their glossy-ness :)

havent updated this in a while.... done a few little things to it ever since got the cluster surround out of a calais and the needles, makes a huge difference i reckon & i've painted one side of my calipers yellow.. the other side is still waiting lol other than that i havent really got...

if you put a level 3 in a level 1 car - the screens will light up but the info won't be displayed like average fuel and temp, is that right?
