Hi all looking for some advice! There is a squeaking noise that appears to be coming from the power steering pump on my daughter's VE SV6 but the pump isn't noisy. Does the pulley have a bearing in it and can I just change the pulley or should I replace the pump as well??? Thanks in advance!!

What can I look for first before buying a new compressor? I've had it regassed already!

Hi any suggestions to get the aircon working again in my VU? It just stopped working last summer! I got it regassed but still won't start is it the pressure switch or the compressor? Where do I start before I fork out $500+?

The air con isn't working at the moment so yes the fan is on all the time!

I think I've found the sensor so when I get a chance I'll change it and see if that fixes it! The engine is running fine other than that although there must have been a short in the plugs for the fans about 12 months back because the plugs were fried and I had to change them!

When the engine is cold it comes on! Where is the sensor situated and is it hard to change?

Hi guys the high speed fan is staying on all the time while my engine is running. It's a VU SS 5.7litre. I've tried swapping the relays over but it's still the same! Any ideas welcome. Cheers

Can somebody please tell me the best way to change the starter motor in a VU SS? I've had a look underneath and from the top with the exhaust manifold disconnected and pulled back and I can't see how to get it out!

Ok so in the end removed gas system completely and changed manifold back to non gas plus changed knock sensors! Running like a dream for 2700km!

Air flow was filthy! Gonna try cleaning that and throttle body and see what happens! Already spent 1k chasing tail!!

Done all the fuel cleaner, pump, lifters and is running probably better than a long time but engine light came on again and car stopped apparently! It's real hard when I'm in SA and the car is in WA with my Mrs! Anybody in WA can lend a hand?

The other fault that showed up was TPS as I said so they changed that!

The wife took it to the garage we always go to and they put it on their computer!! They said too lean!

My VU SS engine light coming on fault computer says running too lean or something and TPS error. I've replaced TPS and still has same problem! Any help would be greatly appreciated as my wife and daughter are trying to get the ute and a horsefloat from WA to SA! Left twice now since wednesday...

I'm having trouble with the indicators not working intermittently in my 2001 VU. Is it a stalk issue or is there a relay or regulator responsible??

Ok I sorted this problem out but now the cruise won't activate. I get the cruise light to come on but that's it. Could it be the actual stalk faulty or something else?

Any ideas where to look for wiring that would blow fuse for cruise control on vs commodore other than electric mirrors and cruise itself??
