Ve key programming help (tech 2 guru's)

No chance of doing it at home. Tech 2 has to be connected to the Holden Global connet website. So you will need a dealerships username and password plus cables to connect your tech 2 to the computer and the software to get the security information onto your computer from the tech 2. Just take it...

Ve exaust vapour in the cold

You gotta remember. What does your catilitic converter do?. Converts poisenous exhaust gases to less harmfull ones. like Hydrogen, oxygen and carbon dioxide. Whats water people..... Hydrogen and oxygen. So you will always notice vapour or even water droplets out the exhaust on newer cars...

help can someone get some pics of what a bluetooth module should look like for a ve

Why do you want to know what it looks like. Take out your glovebox and look up. If you have one it will be there right in the middle.

capa otrcai with maf and no tune

The modern ECU takes readings from everything constantly. Plug in a Tech2 unit and you can see everything which is happening. As soon as you put in your 98 octane fuel the ecu will advance the timing further as it realises it can. And will keep advancing until knock occurs, then bring it back...

    steering wheel vibration

I would say its not the steering wheel, but your tyres might need to be balanced. Seems what it sounds like. try swaping tyres front to rear

    2x12 or 2x10 1xBIG 12 - What Would You Prefer?

Ive thought the same question. Cause isnt sound vibration, and the more surface area of the sub, the more air you are moving. So i was to belive that two 12s would be better than one 15. but ive heard thats not the case. I know rwms has stuff to do with it too. Ive just never really understood it

Check engine light leads to overpriced service?

Well you wouldnt of paid for the rework. and if your car is the V6 then you have to remove the intake manifold to change the spark plugs, 2 hours labour is a bit much though

    Amp has no power! HELP!!!!!

You shouldnt get anything from the negative. Volt meters measure the potential difference between two points. 0 volts measuring at ground and the earth terminal is a good thing. seeing as you have more than 12 volts at both PWR and remote, then id say your amp is at fault, try another amp if...

    VE Struts

Theres nothing wrong with the Fe2s as thats whats on the Sv6 now. They just dont seem to be up to the.....abuse i seem to give to them. Maybe its only cause its too high, i dunno. I just wanted to know if anyone has fitted Coil overs and how they went, or just lower/ better shocks

    VE Struts

Just a quick question about aftermarket struts and coil overs. My springs and struts are starting to get a bit sluggish, or maybe im just pushing it harder, i dunno.... but I want to fix it. Cause now its making a noise eveytime the body moves to one side. I know about the holden spring wraps...

    Dual Sub question

Well, how about instead of getting two subs, i get two amps so put a 15' or 18' sub in the middle, and a amp on either side

    Dual Sub question

We all have our own opinions, you do a visual modification as you (the owner) thinks it looks good. I would like two subs in the Boot (for holdenboy:rofl2:) as I think it looks better than just one large one. Now, if you have no ideas or advice relevant to this topic, i would appreciate it if...

    The FAIL thread

I have noticed around here that alot of you have "Fail" pictures or the "Bad thread" ones. Just thought i would make a thread for everyone to put them in. I find it great when you click a thread which looks pointless, and find someone who posted one of these in it.

    Dual Sub question

I really only want two subs for the symetrical look in the back of my car, one on either side with the amp or amps in the middle. And Joe, i would be interested, but 1500 is a bit out of my range. I wasnt looking for the best setup or a really high quality one. Just want something a bit...

    Dual Sub question

I went down to the localish Car audio store (70ks away) to have a look at what they have. Bascially the guy there told me. Everything else is crap, only buy Alpine.... I went with him to save any arguments. The only thing he said would that would be suitable for me was these two 15' type...

    Airhammer Intake

I would just do it yourself, really easy to do. You have to remove the manifold to access the spark plugs so Id do that at the same time

    Considering buying a sidi SV6

i have a 07 Sv6. great car. I saved a bit of money and just got a older model as not much has changed. I plan on changing the intake manifold and flash tuning so warrenty isnt really a issue as i would void it. Fuel economy is pretty good aswell, and im quite heavy footed:rofl2: but i also...

    Premium or Normal Unleaded

Now in the old days, (days of dizzys) you could advance your timing manually. You could put Premium in the tank. advnace the timing (or dwell angle) and it would run better as you have "tuned" it or premuim fuel. But now days the ECM does that. So in my VE, using Premium fuel would just mean...

    Dual Sub question

well, i am after dual 12' subs. in seperate boxes on either side of the rear of the boot. I know, a bit picky but i know what i want. So, if i buy two of those 12' subs with the amps built in. can i connect a Cache Loche in the middle and send a High input signal to both of the amps?

Who paid for their first car

This is a strange question. My first car i drove around in was a HJ61 landcruiser, which i still have. my dad lent that to me to use. Then my older sister somehow blew up the transmission in her Mitsubishi verada, causing the TCM to malfuntion. We didnt know that at the time and replaced...
