how i moved my gear stick hey tuffst8 this is what i ended up doing to stop my gear stick from hitting the console.. took a couple of hours.. i had to buy a tap an die set [$24] plus a 5mm thick bracket which i cut down to suit. hope this gives u some ideas cheers

hey peterfishboat from what i know the wagon and ute diffs mount up the same [non irs] as they share the same floor pan, the diff centres should be interchangable on all live axel diffs [non irs], maybe different ratios ? the sedan diff housing has the shocky mounts in a different position...

thanks tezza i joined those 2 grey wires together worked great, i had the same problem with my t5 conversion in a vs but the people who did mine ran a wire from the negative battery terminal into the big black start fuse above the battery ??? still worked but dodgy !!! now i just need to find...

got a vs t5 conversion kit for a 96 vs a month ago for $750 + 500 to fit it - sydney nsw - only problem was they didnt swap the engine harness and have since scrapped the doner car :-( i'm having a hard time trying to get a hold of one for under $350 !!! anyone know of one cheers

hi i've just converted my 96 vs v6 statesman to a t5 manual, the only thing i couldn't get hold of was the engine harness, ive managed to get the car to run but it stalls when i come to a stop, no speedo [works with the auto computer but not the manual one] no reverse lights plus the dash...
