Hmmm ... chrome drums on black commo's has been done to death IMHO .... the black / chrome mix is alot better.

Hey pples .. done something really stupid the other week ... noticed my oil level was on the low mark .. so decided to buy some oil to top it up 2 x 1ltr bottles of gtx 3 .. in my haste i poured all 2lts in without checking as i went .. let the oil settle .. checked it and it was like 20mm's...

A white 95 VS ... I try to keep it garaged whenever possible, sharing a garage at a unit. full wax n detail at least twice a year and washed at least every 2 weeks and water still beads! ... and when not in the garage i throw a car cover over her I've heard the paint they used for the...

'95 VS Berlina, about 214 000 klms. I've had it since 172 000 klms ... replaced, alternator, water pump + other bits and pieces, and of course normal servicing!

High percentage u've hit an oil patch! Was ur best mate seriously injured, or worse, from ur previous accident ?

haha .. hope the k's are genuine mate, although u should be able to have a good idea based on car interior/exterior condition as well as engine performance. If in doubt after that take it to a mechanic and have them give their verdict on it's genuine k's.

I definately notice a slight improvement when I use fuel from Shell, so I try to use this when I can.

Yep very tidy ride harvs01, based on what i've got tidy 95 Vs Berlina, with pretty much no mods except some 16" mags lol my insurance has a market value on it of just over 5 grand. Yours being a 96 S Pak with the mods u've got i think u should expect about 7 grand for it. All the best with it...

Use Fuchs Titan GT plus 20W/50 SL/CF-4, with a Purolator Filter, change every 5,000 clicks. Had no problems.

Heya Frandy, are those clear tailights legal in qld? ... i've heard that they're not. They look freakin awesome on that colour VS. Not too sure how good they would look on a white VS Berlina. If they are legal ... where can i get em?

Good ol' hit on top of the dash does it for me. Had this problem for a while, find it helps if i keep my fuel level above the quarter full mark, doesn't seem to do it as often. Now it's just something i put up with.

Hi pples Just filled her up .... right up .. to the point of fuel spilling out. Put the fuel cap back on ... went to go and pay for fuel, but noticed there was fuel coming out (like a slowly turned on tap) directly underneath the fuel cap ... down and under the rear bumper. Stuck my head...

As above, get some nice chrome / shadow chrome five spoke deep dish rims, lower it 2.5 inches on all fours ... VS SS kit ... nice soundin' system, and yeah NO "SPOIL"her. I personally wouldn't worry about an exhaust (except if it's half stuffed), spend the money on a good dyno tune / service...

Hako, this is exactly what is happening to mine at the moment, chalky deposits on top right hand side of sump (looking front on). Tried to see exactly where this is coming from. Have to top radiator up every 3 or so days, would this definately be a water pump problem? Is the water pump hard...

My car was reversed into while i had it parked in an angled parking bay, woman told me her car rolled back into mine, yeah right. Anyway, rear left hand side quarter panel was damaged (60%). Had it all fixed through insurance, payed nothing and didn't drop any ratings (Rating 1). Worst part...

Alternator died about 12 months ago (176 000 klms), same problems, no dashlights, no anything. Put in a reco alternator myself, no problems since.

As a guide, my oil level sits halfway between the add and full mark after putting in 4 litres of oil and a new filter on. The hand book states this is where the oil level should sit. But yeah, your oil level should be close to or above the full mark if you're putting in a full 5 litres.

Hey Jamie_87 .... great post as i was just about to post the exact same thing! Replaced the bulb behind the temp gauge on mine about 8 - 9 months ago .. driving home tonight i notice it has blown again ... will look at it tomorrow ... like hako said i might try n swap the bulbs around.

Yeah the 19's ... nice lookin rims! Much prefered the 18's though .... nice, clean lookin ride mate. Unique touch to put a sticker (Mobil 1) on each rim ... never seen that before, the small things can add so much sometimes. Can i ask what HSV rims the 18's are?

Use Valvoline XLD Premium 20W-50 with a Valvoline oil filter. Used Valvoline Max Life 20W-50 in the second last oil change, seem to get better results from the XLD Premium :confused: Use Valvoline for all other fluids: Transmission, Power Steering, Brake etc.

Yeah, corroding of the electrical contacts is my main worry. Will have a look at it after i do an oil change on her this weekend. Thanks for the replys though :D

Hey all, noticed some water condensation in rear right hand tailight. What's the easiest method of removing this, is it hard to get in there to fix it, or is it one of those 'annoying' little things that isn't worth the hassle? lol Cheers :)
