stick to a v6, sounds like u would kill yourself in a 8. and v6's are cheaper to replace when u blow them all up.

maybe radiater cap needs replacing. i had one fault years ago on a caprice i had. it wouldnt hold pressure and would release.

if it was priming u would definately know it was by listening underneath, even though u dont know what to hear for u, it only primes for a sec or 2 when ignition is turned on.

the problem turned out to be the lead from battery to starter. it was yeaterday i fixed it, no auto elec open but the wreckers had a lead that was perfect and $10. cheap fix :) small 1/4 inch drive ratchet was used to remove lead from solanoid from underneath. ( in case people had trouble)...
