Ok so I ran wires from the switch straight to the power window regulator and it's working properly, which means that the auto-down function is causing problems. Can this be fixed?

And I should be splicing into the wires that plug into the bottom of the master switch block, correct?

I have one, what would I test?

It just doesn't look like something that's been tampered with, it looks like it's factory wrapped if that makes sense.

The wires inside the boot, do you think it's possible for the wires to brake inside the tape after years of using the driver's door?

I quickly checked that out last night, it was very tightly wrapped in tape and didn't look like it had broken?

It's touch up paint but they've just sprayed it on and it looks like graffiti.

Well, it seems to stick pretty well to the actual worn part that you steer with, but not the horn pad & rest of the wheel where it has ridges and pattern. No prep was done, I regret not at least wiping it down to get existing oils and protectant off.

There should be a separate section for dodgy how-to's because this one definitely falls under the 'do at your own risk category' haha.
