I had a bent rod on the left front side of my car thats attatched to the stabliser bar. I took it out and the next day I picked up a second hand one but now it seems like the rod will not fit at all. Do I have to clamp up the suspension or something to get this thing in or what can I do...

Isn't there some kind of mechanism that regulated the amount of of fuel that stablises the idle at 900 (or whatever its meant to be). I think that part could be faulty/broken. Unless those are the injectors going straight from the fuel rail that I'm talking about? I just thought maybe there's...

Idles really low on fuel and commonly stalls. Does not build any sort of speed while revs are going up compared to LPG.. Any reason for this? I've recently changed my fuel pump and fuel filter.

Hi folks. My VS has been idling at around 500rpm after my drive belt snapped. Just wondering if there was any tweak to fix this quickly? Cheers It's dual fuel if that matters.

You may need to bleed the cooling system. Car will overheat very quickly if there is the least bit of air in the cooling system. Search on this forum for how to do it. I work at a mechanics and if we flush the system we don't even bother bleeding the air out afterwards, so who knows.

Yeah it seemed to drive and idle alright today. I think after running a tank of petrol it needs to readjust to gas which takes some time. Thanks for the replies guys.

My car stalls very often in LPG. When driving slow/straight/turning corner, basically anything low revs it will drop below 1000 and stall. It's quite dangerous and annoying. It runs perfect in petrol but in LPG it doesn't. Any idea what this could be?

I have a haynes manual and I just find it too broad and hard to relate into my car. I haven't checked out the brake section though so I'll give it a go brett. My rear calipers need to be changed because metal was rubbing on metal and they're farked.

I took out the power steering pump and replaced the tiny o ring that may have been causing the leak, then it started raining so I had to stop before I got the pump back on.. As for the temp gauge i'll have to check that out when the sun comes back out but thanks for that tip

How do you drive an auto box like it's a manual?

Best way is to find yourself a 'caramel wheel' or 'eraser wheel'. You use it as a drill bit and it rubs the sikaflex (the black glue stuff) off without damaging the paint.. Or you can go the long way and use wax and grease remover and a strong hair dryer or hot glue gun to heat it while rubbing...

You could probably get over 9000 for it.
