thats alright mate, i wouldnt mind buying a 'track only' r32 gtr on the cheap and dropping the rb26 into my vb or a vl. would go pretty hard. i never 100% that the rb engines all use the same engine mounts so the vl engine crossmember will hold any of the rb engines, bolt in. id hazard guess...

if youre going to do an rb25 conversion find a cheap/wrecked vl as you will need the front crossmember and then the rb25 should bolt straight in using the vl rb30 crossmember. not sure what the deal is with the gearbox though

if you did the conversion with a stock LS1 it would be easy to get it passed through emissions. then modify with cam, roller rockers etc etc. could easily make 400hp out of an LS1 and it would be a million times more streetable than a 400hp 308 and would be a lot more efficient
