Gday all I have a 04 VY SS ute that had the Check engine alarm go off yesty . I switched car off for bout an hour, when i re started warning was gone, and car drove as normal, any ideas??

Gday all Im lookin at puttin a set of 20s on my VY SS ute but want to put 10s on the rear rather then 8.5s anyone done this, if so how do they fit,, do guards need to be rolled etc etc. Ute has already been lowered and is super low. Cheers Josh

Hey all Yeah it can be done, Had it done in my vs caprice, Lost the roof speakers (like u even notice) to attach to an rca convertor, then run amp in its usual fashion, Alpine 4 channel, Rears speakers and sub were run by amp, System worked fine

Gday. Was wondering if anyone has ever had a set of wheels chromed? As the design of the wheel is good its just the wrong colour, Or is it cheaper to buy new wheels? If anyone knows anything bout chroming please give me a yell.:thumbsup:

throttle body gday i upgraded my throttle body on my 5.0L. It was 5mm oversize(70mm) and it was very hard to notice the difference in performance.

gday does anyone have any sort of info on doing a manual conversion to a 96 Statesman 5.0L??????

gday Josh is the name. 5.0L throttle bodies are identical to the 3.8L, they just have different sensors. Hard to believe i know. They just run 90" across engine bay behind fan and straight into rubber air intake , two studs hold it to manifold.

Josh Im having the same prob with my Caprice and a mate also with his ute both are VS's and 5.0L. A very dull altenator light also has appered but goes away at opperating temp. Sorry but help cant you need info myself.
