Hi all, been a hot minute and I need some advice. Haven't given much love to Shya (life has been a rollercoaster this year) I have been trying to start it and let it idle every so often but one day it was just cranking and cranking without firing. I thought it was the immobiliser but after...

im going to need the details on the battery box and iso set up. I absolutely HATE my plastic battery box. its junk. and i love the idea of having an iso switch to not drain the battery as my stato sits.. I've got some gilmer belt drive noise, not by choice. its still loose as hell, I had it...

I emailed a guy thats about an hour and a half drive away to give me a rough quote after seeing his videos on youtube of his shop installing bags. he seems like a real genuine bloke thats why if I was going down the route of using him I would have full trust in him and his work. I don't think...

wish I could do all 4's but the kit alone is 5k haha. im not doing it for the looks to be honest. I've always loved the height it sits at now. its more the practical side, i've always worried with the DiFillipos hanging the way they do especially the way Victorian roads are - and to make...

Not a whole lot of updates, life has taken me on another journey building a home. I have been weighing up the idea of drop in air bags for the rear. I found this kit and although its on the higher end compared to other bag kits, these guys seem to be very reputable, and I like the idea of the...

Couldn't agree with a comment more than this. I was so heavily into the car scene, and I really enjoyed it from tackling things myself, to calling shops and speaking to them about different avenues to take to even all the stress when things just weren't going right. but I'm so far out of the...

    The Lockdown Thread

July last year in NSW we had a serious accident which involved a driver running over another driver that was carrying out safety checks on the change over trailer. Cost would be one thing but change over points also create a whole new OH&S risk.

Been wanting to fix up my inner rear bumper for awhile - its got a million drill hole from when mudflaps were on it. I went to supercheap and got J073 Heron White - 4H046 Shadow Grey mixed up in some pressure pack cans. I sanded and filled the holes and primed up the area. I sprayed the area...

on to other news, someguy360 has inspired me. I've always hated my front bar, mine is my factory S2 front bar and back in the day I bought the lower lip extension (and S3 rear bar, number plate insert, lip) from GM Holden. Took it to a panel shop and they absolutely butchered the front. In the...

Thanks to a mate, I was able to get the bigger AC Delco battery for only $205. Didn't take any photos of it but the thing weighed a ton, but it sat in the battery box perfectly. Mounted everything back up and put it on charge and waited until it was fully charged again and cranked it, was strong...

absolutely awesome job! I dont know why they had the darker grey on the S1 and S3, the light grey does look better IMO. but at that time, all the statesmans/caprice lower half had a splash of the body colour in it. what paint code did you go with?

Ok so the Optimas are close to double the price over the AC Delcos. Not a fan of Century batteries lifespan with the ones I've had, so Delco it is! This is the battery box I have, their website says; Projecta Battery Box - H: 200mm - W: 190mm - L: 330mm My current battery is - H: 225mm - W...

Took her out for the first time in awhile. she still makes my heart race a million miles an hour. Unfortunately the battery has become a bit tired in its old age and I wasn't able to get it started at the supercheap car park - there was a staff member on his day off who could see I was in...
