There is a very good Android fuel consumption and running costs app I use called 'Fuel Log'. There is a free version which does pretty much everything you might think, and the paid version keeps graph data for you for longer. Easy to use, great app which I use to help me budget for the car.

That's quite comforting to hear, my 06/07 SV6 hasn't had any timing chain issues and I hope it stays that way.

Probably jinxing myself here, but apart from an assortment of common rattles and an annoying after market alarm issue, I've had no real issues other than a recent heater hose replacement and an issue with the radio display blacking out.

My SV6 does it occasionally, no problem according to Mr Holden at last service.

I'm getting late 9's to late 10's/100km, 69000km on clock, mix of motorway/urban driving. No hard acceleration and gentle braking. Quite the granny.

Yep, the Engineering mode is the only way to get an instantaneous fuel consumption read out. The Low Fuel warning will not let you see an estimated range, a bit of a pain I agree and something that could be a little more user friendly. As a rough guide I recently did a 650+km drive on open road...

And I should also add a new squeaky noise came along yesterday on a long 650km drive, found that the passenger side sun visor vibrates against the roof which has a weird squeaking noise in it. Isn't it amazing what you can hear when you turn the stereo off!

Sounds like the door trim on mine too, really annoying and it won't do it when Mr Holden technician checks it. Also the tray under the stereo rattles (it's not the removable tray I have discovered but the section underneath fixed to the car).

Hi emot. My SV6 had the same issue, pulling and resetting fuse 7 in the cabin fuse box fixed the issue for me with no further issues.

If the new screens are as reliable as the old 'Atari' style displays then good luck. I quite kike the new interior, and also glad in a way that the exterior hasn't changed too much.

Either way it works now with no issues, so I am happy.

I fixed my SV6 center display. Pulled the fuse 7 and found it was dirty. Cleaned it and replaced the fuse, all good now.

What was the fix? My display has died now. I can live without the display in the meantime but it's really frustrating.

It's always good to find out a concerning issue is shared by others. I wouldn't worry about it, just get a nice clean soft rag to mop up the excess condensation and use the air con to dry the residue up. Back to enjoying the car :)

I meant a full windscreen sun shield fold out thingy. It reflects the heat and sunlight as it is designed to do, cooling the interior of the car. The sudden drop in temperature and low temperature combined I think caused my condensation issue. It was the first time I've had it. Was ok today.

Quality of the playback is probably only as good as the reproduction. I notice varying volumes in some songs copied from CD's compared to some downloaded from iTunes etc.
