Thats why im a bit confused. I notice it more once the car has been running for a while. So im assuming its when the transmission "gets ho". Any idea what the average temps are CITY - HWY?

Hey mate, i never knew there were wider standard 19inch wheels from Holden? I just got the ones that came with the car.....id love to get 10inch + rear rims! Ive got pedders lowest springs in the front and rear. Sits nice enough for me :)

Around the inside of the grill i added a foam strip. Its just like a boarder......Not sure where its from, just found it in my garage.

I really don't think there is any need for CHEV badges on a Holden....People just have to get creative :idea3: Buying pre made CHEV grills is the easy way out :yeah:

I made it out of some plastic off cut i had sitting around home. I started of with a paper template, then a cardboard one and once it sort of looked ok, i started to cut out the plastic. It came out alot better then i expected

Thanks :) Ye ive never been a real fan off the Chev badges so that's why i tried to make my own. Ye the mesh i just purchased from autobarn and bent it to suit the standard grill. It took some mucking around but the end product turn out not bad!

Update - 01-05-11 I haven't provided an update for some time now. Over the last few months i have de-badged my entire car apart from the SSV badge in the custom front grill i made. Car looks nice a clean now!!! I have also purchased a rotofab intake from the US and i made...

Have you tried a system like this on your vehicle??? VE a prone to bad drone with alot of cheaper exhaust systems.....I have had a few mates change the diff back option to this and they are so happy with the results. You should read the forums.....in the US they are using them on the Pontiacs...

Ive just added a few extra mods to the car over the past few weeks :) Made them all myself Firstly i made my own custom exhaust (diff back). Im really happy wit the results and most importantly there is no drone! I also built a custom intake, not much really to it, just a 90 degree pipe...

Finally got around to uploading some pics of the exhuast i made..... Im very happy with the results. No drone and pretty loud once you give it a bit :)

Thats great mate, Where abouts is Rapid Exhaust located? also im just wondering how much this system set you back?? I need to purchase another system for my dads SSV ute :) I dont really wont to manufacture another set........lol
