    2003 VX wagon - which is the drive wheel?

    I'm thinking about when its bogged. One wheel spins uselessly and the other just sits there. Of course thats where a limited slip diff would be useful.

    In most rear wheel drive cars without a limited slip diff, one wheel is more strongly driven than the other. So which side is the drive wheel in a VY wagon?

    Replacement key for VY series 2

    A related question: My old key is so worn that it has trouble opening the door and turning the ignition. If a new key was just cut using the old key as a template, the new key would have the same trouble. Can a locksmith cut from a code rather than from physically copying the old key?

    I understand that commodores after the VX cant have a complete key made from VIN codes and the like - that an original key is needed. But what about just a transponder key - with no remote fob? Can a transponder key be cut and coded for the car without the need for an original?

    VT Calais S1 - Drivers Door handle broken!!! :(

    This sounds like a common problem. Both the front handles on my 98 VT dont work from the outside. The little plastic arm that links the handle lever to a rod is fractured in the middle. Anyone know if this little arm can be bought from somewhere like Coventrys? Looks like a pig to get in and...

    replacing a lost key?

    Ive lost the key to my 98 VT exec. I know its easy to get a replacement cut if i have the original. But how would i go about getting a replacement when i dont have the original? I have the owners manual which lists a numeric code for the key.
