That wheel fitment is crazy as fronts will be ok but rears are hektik. Ive got 19x9.5 p45 rears with 275 and its just fitting under with light rubbing the main area i have trouble with is the bit where the guard meets the door ive die grinded and filed smooth to inner guard but still touches...

Yes both same housing between 78/80 only difference is tougher gears so go in no worries just got to work out whether u wanna swap tail shaft or the diff part tail shaft from wrecker only $50 odd

Vs and vt diff no worries but yea grab the whole vy tail shaft especially grab the slide yoke out the back of the box then shall be a goer or just join the Vy rear half onto the front half of the tail shaft

Its not hard to phone a decent tyre shop rather than starting a useless thread thats been done to death the facts are that yes once machined will go on but tyres are no good they will more than likely hit the strut at the front and more importantly be illegal for the car u will need to change...

Difference is vx are same shape as vt light and vy are slightly pointier will not fit each others bumper either

Only nut to use is the nut that comes factory with alloy wheels vt - vz the have the big taper u require... Gl

Sounds to me like its a typical commodore and has flogged out z bar bushes - the big ones on the front of the k frame. Make sure u get shimable ones from pedders and a good alignment from someone that knows how to set em up should be apples !!!

Defs fit in the strut is basicly the same except for sway bar link mount points maybe a slight difference in height prob sit a lil lower as the vz is heavier ( i thinik ) cheers and gl

Wd 40 works well on tar mix a bit of kerosene into your soap also does wonders. Alot of truckies do it and you rarely see a truck thats got crap paint

I find x force fine . . . . There is sound levels you can choose from 2 or 3 muffler makes a massive difference i no plenty of ppl with all sorts of x force and have had absolutely no issues wat so ever

sounds like the fuel gauge sender is at fault here i changed mine but you gotta be a bit handy with tools as the tank has to come out... good luck ps sender and pump is about $300 - $400 from holden.
