People put HSV wheels on their SS and no one cares, someone puts a HSV front bar on their SS and it's the end of the world. I'd consider chev badges 'worse' than a HSV front bar. I say go for it mate E1's look awesome.

I have genuine so I can't speak for the after markets but I do recall people saying they have a pinkish light instead of pure red.

Looks good, nice height, but yeah definitely go the SS exhaust. Call some local exhaust shops they usually have them lying around, picked up mine inc. fitting for $120. SSV lights as well if that's your thing, not everyone likes them.

if the side skirts are a direct swap I don't think it'd be too bad to just do those

Yeah I tried it but it didn't work straight out of the tin so I had to brush it on instead.

You'd need to add a thinning agent to the paint in order for it to work through the preval sprayer but who knows how that would effect the integrity of the paint itself.

SSV Matte Black look the goods and you'll also save some $ not having to buy 20" tyres :)

I don't think you're meant to paint the parts of the rotors that come into contact with the brake pads :/ Other than that looks good.

Autosol metal polish, you can pick up a can from Supercheap for $15 and it'll last you ages. I use it on my SS exhaust and it comes up mint.

Ok cool, I'll have the same setup as you so I'll keep looking for a place that charges something closer to $250 for fitting. Edit: Got a quote for $305 which I'm happy with, although when I asked UltraTune for a quote they said it "wasn't worth their time".

Quick question on a related note. I've called 4 different placed in Brisbane and the lowest I've been quoted to install springs + shocks and a wheel alignment is $440, but people here have said anything over ~$250 is a rip? Does anyone know a place in Brisbane I should check out? Also the...

Just an updated on this, after having it for another day the Holden guys said they couldn't find any issue and couldn't cause the transmission to hold the gear anymore. They said it was an issue with low petrol in the tank but I'm very skeptical of this as the car had less petrol the 2nd time...
