when the car is stationary and i give a rev up to say 2 or 3000 rpm and then release the throttle it drops the revs right down to 3 or 400 rpm and then struggles back up to its regular idle range 750 to 800 and sometimes it stalls completely. has anyone had the same issue? my thoughts are either...

has anybody put a VZ bonnet on a VY i prefer the way the VZ raises in the middle, but not sure how it will marry up with the grille, i think the grille on VZs is just deeper in the front bar but not sure. so thoughts?

yeah i was happy. i have been looking into a blower and the v2 look great bang for buck. so how difficult was it to install? and is the tune included in the price? and wats it like to drive :)

ha thanks mate, i searched and searched for a cheap set that i could fit easy enough without pulling to much out, granted not the same power gains but worth it. what supercharger did you go with? and how did you go about getting it tuned?

On the weekend i fitted a set of 4 into 1 from HM Headers and with very little experience and had great success taking me a total of 4 hours including removing a broken manifold bolt :). These are the fitting instructions for HM120SS/HM121SS short 4 into 1s with a few tips I leant along the way...

nah mate its the tear drop that gives the that tough snarling look IMO, but vz for executive the vy front bar and grille looks like **** in an exec IMO

yeah mate you do make a good point, ill probably go with a cheap vortech kit then because im only on a apprentice wage so 5 or 6 is about as much as i wanna spend on the blower kit its self, but i think i will just keep plodding doing those sort of mods and see how i feel once they are done...

Okay so im planning on throwing a c.a.p.a powerdyne blower on my ls1 crewman. she is pretty much standard at the moment except for sports pipe, clutch and fly upgrade.. now to prepare my baby im thinking extractors injectors and maybe ls6 intake manifold first, not overly sure that these mods...
