did it start doing it after yo fiited the new leads/plugs? mine use to do the same. surging and back fire. hooked the computer up and came up as a missfire on #2.. checked the lead on #2... it wasnt pushed on all the way. i'd check all the leads are clipped on properly.

LOL to many douch bags on here.... no wonder i come here once a month. the main reason wasnt for looks mate, i live out int he sticks in the hot summer air. the main reason was to get more air into the engine bay!

    Excessive cranking???

that sounds like a fuel presure problem. im not sure if the standard fuel system has an check valve, but on my worked V8 does the samething, only cuase fuel presure in the lines drop over night and gets air in there. it turns over after a few cranks in the moirining and runs rough whiles theres...

    good street clutch

and your point is what? no need to post in here mate if you dont have anything to say....
  23. Kingston_99

    good street clutch

i'd like to see how this RPM heavy duty (piss weak) clutch goes. i'd fry it in no time in my car. 1K more and you could have a clutch that will last alot longer in your car.
  24. Kingston_99

    good street clutch

if you read that thread properly... you would of seen after some time of bedding in it smoothed out. i just opened my mouth to early and complained about the bedding in bit. its perfect now. you can run what ever clutch you like mate, in my mind the Z is the best. it realy teaches you how to...
  25. Kingston_99

    good street clutch

pitty what he said he very true. cant handle a Z grip... may as well sell the car and buy a Getz. also its not what rating power the clutch will hanlde that makes it last longer.... its the driver.....
  26. Kingston_99

    good street clutch

first time i have read a neg comment about Tex..... real men drive Z grip clutches.... but if you want stock feel. get the X grip. NPC do a good kit too. i would use Tex or NPC. i run a single Tex Z grip and its holding up good with 500hp going through it.

    Ss clutch

standard flywheels are pretty thin... when you buy an aftermarket clutch, it comes with a flywheel. i'd get an heavy duty clutch kit bro! dont waste time on a standard crap...
  38. Kingston_99

    Ss clutch

im not realy sure. if you are just going to have a exhuast and cam, the standard clutch will hold out. but if it were me, i'd stick a heavyer clutch in. single plate will do the job fine and still have the stock pedal feel.
  39. Kingston_99

    Ss clutch

you would be better of just getting a single plate heavy clutch. something on the lines of NPC or the Tex X they sholud be around the 1200 mark from memory. but if you plan to do some work down the track, i would think twice about what sort of clutch you put in it now.
