Converted an MQ 82 Nissan Patrol with a 283 Chevy V8 back in 04. Tank capacity, 88 usable litres and depending how I drove it, 500 - 600 kms per tank. I only paid around $40 a tank at the bowser. I know it costs a lot more now, but I thought $1,650 was money well spent.
The wheels are BMW pursuit rims. 253 with a bit of work and over 5K of chrome under the bonnet. Not my car. It was one I use to detail before he took it to car shows to advertise his chroming business.

A mate of mine told me that it's the clear coat that's peeling away on my roof and bonnet. Can someone confirm this for me? Any advice on the best method for fixing this problem without having to go to a professional would be greatly appreciated.
