bit of an update, i cut off the tabs and slipped the lip over the original black peice, doesnt fit perfect or really match the rest of my kit so i might get a different bar later on. new pics in my ride

yeah i thought about that but what about the little screw tabs on the lip? i thought about cutting them off but wasnt sure incase i needed them?

just a quick update tinted windows lowered an inch or 2 genie extractors and redback stainless 2 n half inch white gauge dials, satin chrome air vents and door handles and attempted body kit fitting

this arvo i tried to put an ss lip on my rear bumper and after much mucking around to get it off i found i cant get the standard black lip off my bumper. i always thought it was a simple unclip and change but it doesnt seem so. the bumper has always been a touch darker than the rest of the car...

just got my white dials in the mail today, it seems to have the green backing thats talked about on the standard ones. ide love to put it in on the weekend with the red leds but ill be way to drunk being grand final day. so should i scrape the green backing off, ppl on here have said their leds...

i got all the gear to do it yesterday, just waiting on a white dial facia off ebay then ill post some pics when im done. hope the red leds dont look pink againts the white facia. good idea on breaking the colours up ill see what else jaycar has in stock

and also the gear select indicator and power button, are they LEDS aswell?

it started doing it for a day just after i had it done then it stopped and started again the other days jacked it up this arvo and found that the whole bottom bush, nuts and washers had all fallen out, looks like ill be going 2 visit the mechanic tomorrow

hi all, at work so i dont have time 2 check through all the threads but ie just got a clunk in my front end when i go over certain bumps, and is worse if im turning a corner and go over a bump. just had the strut link bushes replaced so it cant be them. any ideas?

has anyone put racing seats in thier vt/vx? and if so will they fit pretty much straight in? im finding the standard seats getting more uncomfortable

also holding down and the mose button down while starting the car and keeping it held for a few seconds also brings up another display

i tried this but now ive lost my odemeter display while driving and the trip screen wont reset! the odometer only comes up whe the car is off. i assume disconnected the battery might reset it hopefully. also tried this on a mates 98 vts and he only had like half the things come up, cant remember...

ive had a bit of a look at the blue led conversion thread, im guessing red leds would be the same to install? they should look good under white dials..well i hope they do be a pain in the ass to change over again
