gday got a 08 ve ssv ute and lookin at putting an otr cold air intake on keeping the maf.. just wondering what anyones thoughts on the best were? At the moment im leaning towards Russo? cheers

yea i got that system on my ute, 2.5" loud option.. stainless steel. just a set of small mufflers at the rear, but i put pacemaker headers on... sounds awesome! wouldnt change it for the world. no drone...

like servicing everything.... it can't last forever. haha no such thing

gday, been lookin round for oil to do my diff and gearbox(6spd manual) oil in a 2008 ve ssv ute, but have been told that they are a sealed unit never to be changed? but the have fill and drain plugs. is this true? and if so what oils been run through them? my manual just says refer to holden...

ok, apparently the bluetooth module jammed and only half the functions were working, so they ordering a new module in :)

yea did that few times hey, its pairing up still all the little logos on my phone and stuff and the button on my steering wheel works it all still. just no audio in stereo or phone. so dunno holden hooking up to computer tomoro to do a check for me.

just the other day i got in my ute (08 ssv) and went to ring someone but there was no noise at all on the phone or through the stereo.. but the phone button still hung up my phone from the steering wheel, so it must be conneced through... i noticed that on the lcd screen when it connects now it...

it just totally depends on what you want with your options really. i went for thee ssv ute, because i wanted all them extras you listed above :) how much $$$ u saving though?? ssv have a higher speed limiter haha not that get to do 250 very often.

very happy with my 2.5" staino catback from hi tech mufflers, wore in great minimal cab noise and awesome note outside! put some pacemaker extractors on last wk, made it bit more throaty sound, will try get vid up soon ;)

i got ss v ute 2.5" staino exhaust pacey extractors, looking at gettin vcm to do the otr and a cam package.. just wonderin what the best size cam to go? not gonna be on the strip, just general use but want a nice lump.

yea i find more slip then on the potenzas but they are half the price so cant expect same performance..

gday, just come back from 1000km trip and noticed that my clutch seems to be only grabbin right at the end now.. is it on its way out?? would warranty cover it? cheers

i got the maxxis MA-Z1 on my ssv ute, they seem to do the trick pretty well. got them for 250 a pop fitted.

gday, just wondering possible reasons why my brakes are always squeakin when im puttin them on.. done about 78000kms in ute. also got a knock sounds like metal on metal every now and then, annoyin the **** outa me happens even over concrete expansion joints or me just gettin in the car...

i also got the clunk sounds like metal on metal or something. when accelerate hard brake hard round corners and over bumps. but its not all the time which makes it hard. taken it to holden 3 times i dont even reckon they look. took it to my mate who mechanic he thinks one the bushes off lower...

i got a 2.5" stainless catback from hi tech mufflers $1600.. be fitting it on my ute tomorrow :) can't wait!!

yea i asked about that but have been told by couple of people that the 2.5 is good for up to 500-600hp. but yea each to their own.

they will freight it up i got my exhaust bloke in port macquarie to ring them and they said will send it to him. so just find someone and give them the details.

i've been interested in the hi-tech exhaust system to, i rang them in sydney to confirm about the system a while back and they said it was 2.5" stainless catback, and pacemaker extractors.. think it was 1800 for the catback and maybe another 1000 for extractors.

what size system did he go with? and how much? im lookin at a 2.5" hi tech mufflers system for me ute.. sounds awesome. YouTube - VE SS Ute Loud could you get a video of the wagons?
