sorry guys been awhile, busy as..from memory I had to get a trans rebuild, 1st and 2nd gears were worn out. ended up costing $1500, I haven't had any problems since though, the trans guy said it should last another 200,000 ks. cheers guys

maybe an auto elec should have a look? cos when you moved the battery out it can shut down something electrical.i know these things are so sensitive when it comes to touching anything electrical and it can shut your ecu down crap blah blah stuff like that...sorry i dont know much really when it...

took the car in today...its gonna cost 1100 to repair...i was expecting alot more....cant wait to pick it up by the end of the week

hey guys i seriously need some help, my cross 8 auto transmission karked it. i have no 4th gear, i still have gears 1,2 and 3, but they are slipping big time...and the other funny thing is there is no light coming up...it keeps saying the system is ok...wtf...does anyone think its a small...

i heard with all the combo you have for you 202 is good to change over to efi....i remember reading on street machine years ago they did a whole bunch of combinations with the carby but they wanted more out of it they got 140bhp with no fan or air cleaner....so they went efi and they got 200...

**** yeah bro...carbs all the way...nothing will ever defeat the lumpy notes you get from carbs,my brother purchased a cross 8 a few years ago and he didnt like the fact it had a low note and he even put twin 2.5 exhaust system on it and it made it a little louder but not that much LOL bloody 3...

yeah i have to say bp ultimate or mobil 98 is really good fuel...for my vk i used to love running on bp ultimate with the additives..and man the 202 just ran a hell alot better...it would rev real high which was pretty good cos first gear was allways low...drifting was easier :D

300 horses is plenty of power....and yes that would be loads of fun i know i would definately have alot of drifting fun :D, does she have a nice note to it? thats what im about is having that nice note and thats what i love about the carbs is that the efi motors today just dont have that...

hey thanks for replying back....thanks for the advice fella....so if i went for the vn heads i heard i have to change the cam, manifold and exhaust...do you know if this is true? so are you running a 308 off the original heads and a quaddy? does she run good? sorry i dont know how to search on...

hey guys i have been wanting for so long to convert my VK berlina for 4 years and i just never got around to it....i know i need to get different suspension and brakes to start off with, i need also a radiator...but what really gets me is because these lovely old engines need to run off the old...

i love my vk....to me its the best model holden have ever made :)
