I'd be putting all my attention on the asshole neighbour who talked crap (apparently) to the police and making his/her life bloody hell! I hate people like that.
My mates XR6 had the spoiler glued down too. When he took it off you could see the glue markings around the legs, looks horrible.
I don't understand why they'd be glued down in the first place.
I thought I saw this car in Tullamarine a couple of weeks ago, as the car got closer it was a white statesman or caprice with Pentagons and the plates SHYGM6. Looked exactly like yours, copy cat on the loose?
If money isn't really an object then KPM or Difillipo systems are top of the range in getting that V8 sound. But if you're just after a nice note than anything from Redback to X-force will do.
The first question you need to ask yourself is how much power are you after?
For starters i'd go with a full exhaust, CAI and a tune perhaps. Then if you're after more look at maybe supercharging it.
Turns out ciddyau lives on the other side of Melbourne to me, so i'm still looking guys.
I'll give my local wreckers a call next week some time but if anyone is selling what i'm after let me know :)
More insurance claims are made with Commodores than Lexcens, therefore it's a more dangerous car to be in hence the higher cost to insure.
That's what insurance companies think anyway...
Not to shabby mate.
About a year and a half ago it was rare to see a P plater in a BA/BF XR6 and pretty much non existent in a VE SV6. These days there's a P plater in an XR6 in every street and there are alot more P platers in VEs too.
Don't try to get fancy or it will look stupid. Do a light coat so that you can tell it's been tinted, but also visible enough to not get dicked by the police.
Can't help you but i'll be watching this thread as my engine overheated the other night. Smoke coming out of my engine bay, water pump and starter motor rooted so there's a chance i'll be looking around for a new ecotec too and will be curious to see prices etc.
I'm not going to go into all the technical crap of insurance because i'll probably throw up but simply put...
There are a crapload of Holdens on the road, and crap all Lexcens. This means that it costs more to insure a Holden than a lexcen as more insurance claims are made from Holden drivers...
Probably not a good idea to start a couple of threads about it mate, but like I said in your other thread I don't think there is anyone on this forum who would know, it'd be pure speculation!

That statement from her seems pretty relevant to me. Some old hag drove onto her car, the car which she was going to take on holidays on Monday. Puts her at a pretty big disadvantage and pretty pissed off i'm sure.
Does her comment on the accident not matter?
